Extended Summary
There’s a complication with Vinnie and Leah’s ultrasound – something about reduced amniotic fluid and an enlarged bladder causing an obstruction. The details are sketchy now – no-one really knows what is going on.
The Sutherlands have also sensed something’s wrong. They were going to have a dinner to celebrate being in Summer Bay for a year. When Alf, Irene and Vinnie said they couldn’t go due to personal reasons, they felt something wasn’t right. If only they knew the half of it.
Irene has been snapping at Hayley and Will about the tiniest things. Irene went off at Hayley after Irene found a photo of Ken missing. Hayley said she had it, and Irene apologised. Still, it’s unlike Irene to fly off the handle. Colleen’s got a few theories and Irene won’t hear of them.
Dani’s recovered from her depression. She and Will are planning their first anniversary presents. Rhys is relieved to see the old Dani back. Let’s hope they can put everything behind them and move on.
Alex is down in the dumps. Not only has he heard Leah’s bad news, he’s received some of his own. Thanks to Brodie’s meddling, his job at the retirement village is on the line.
