Extended Summary
Leah went to the city to have her operation. Shauna and Sally have said that they are there for her, but she was very nervous. Leah’s mum, Helen, arrived from Cyprus. It’s been good for Leah having the support of her mother. Vinnie’s also grateful.
Nick and Jade are still trying to make things look normal. Kirsty’s noticed something’s up and has told Jade she’ll meet someone soon. Even if Nick and Jade talk about it, there’s Kirsty’s feelings to worry about. Could it be that her new look is to try and keep Nick in tow? Whatever she’s up to, Rhys is worried it’s going to be another Dani/Will scenario.
Colleen’s not happy about Gypsy working in the Diner. She’s worried about the Diner’s reputation. Not that it’s going to matter, since she’s been avoiding contact with Gypsy. Colleen’s got a social engagement with her old netball team or something. It’s going to be interesting, because her enemy, Mavis, is going to be there. Alf’s horrified because he found out his charter is going to be hosting this do.
Shelley told Seb he can stay long-term with the Lawsons. Seb says he’s not going to be there long, as he wants to find somewhere of his own. Shelley feels Seb’s being selfish. For some reason he had a go at Jude. Goodness knows why. One minute he’s lashing out at people, the next he’s upset. Even Kirsty can’t get any sense out of him. All she wanted to know was why he was reading On the Crest of a Wave. What has the book has to do with his past?
