Extended Summary
Nick is everybody’s hero after saving Seb’s life. Seb was having difficulty in the water and Nick was the first to reach him. As a result, Fisher lifted Nick’s suspension, Kirsty thanked Nick for saving Seb’s life, Jade was impressed by Nick’s heroics, and Seb’s sort of begun warming to Nick. Fisher would have been relived for sure. Seb’s near-drowning must have reminded him of Alan’s death. At least all of this has pushed Seb into going back to school.
Will went along to Gypsy’s birthing class because Sally couldn’t make it. Gypsy was really tense, and when he mentioned Andrew’s name, she ran out. Will thinks Gypsy wants a committed relationship, hence her reaction. Gypsy is skating on very thin ice, surely she can’t keep her secret forever. Gypsy and Leah were also saying how their pregnancies are practically parallel. Lets hope Will doesn’t do the maths, otherwise the secret could be revealed.
After a lot of arguing, Theo’s finally given Vinnie and Leah the money to pay off their debts. Well, Ralph’s debts. Vinnie apparently told Theo he feels like he’s being constantly criticised, and added that if Theo wouldn’t help them, he’d look after it himself. Theo responded by telling Leah that Vinnie’s too stubborn, at which Leah told Theo he’s always interfering. Alex was impressed by Leah’s outburst. So much so, in fact, that he went to Theo and told him his support always comes at a price. Theo thinks he’s only doing what’s best for Leah but has agreed to give Vinnie and Leah the money and leave them alone.
How will Theo react when he finds out that the police are now involved? Inspector Carter went to see Vinnie and said they’re investigating some of the activities Vinnie might have been involved in. Leah has told Vinnie he should confess about Ralph, but Vinnie can’t bear to dob in his own father. It’s about time Ralph really got what he deserves.
