Extended Summary
Dani knows Will is the father of Gypsy’s baby. Dani told Shelley about the message, and even though Shelley tried being positive, Dani knew something was seriously wrong. Shelley and Rhys discussed recent events and come to the same conclusion. Dani confronted Gypsy about it, as did Shelley. Gypsy said she’s leaving the DIC as there’s no way Shelley’s going to let her work there. Serves Gypsy right for not telling the truth in the first place.
Jan’s moving back in with an old boyfriend. Brodie and Jan were having lunch when Jan’s ex-boyfriend, Gary arrived. Jan and Gary talked and decided to give it another go. Brodie asked Jan why she was doing this, and Jan turned around and told Brodie she was a home-wrecker. She then blamed Brodie for the first break-up. Poor Brodie, she really wanted things to work out.
Vinnie’s made a decision about the cadetship. He was really excited until he realised how much he’d miss working at the Surf Club. He loves working as a lifesaver and feels he could make a positive difference by staying there. Perhaps he remembers the strife he landed in after taking the photo of Gavin before his death in the mudslide.
Irene, Fisher, Nick and Hayley have arrived home from London. Noah didn’t go to the airport to meet Hayley because he didn’t want to seem too keen. Seb also stayed behind, as he’s nervous about seeing Fisher. He didn’t have to worry: Fisher was the first to see him, claiming he had to give him some English toffee. Seb thanked him for the postcard and even called him ‘Donald’. Apparently Fisher felt embarrassed and said it was OK, and even called Seb ‘Sebastian’. It seems they have both realised they can’t avoid the fact that they are related.
