Extended Summary
After weeks of giving Fisher a hard time, Seb’s finally coming around. It was announced in the newspaper that Seb was Fisher’s grandson. At first, Seb thought it was over the top, but after June had a go at him for being so tough on Fisher, he changed his tune. He even hinted that he was proud of being related to Fisher after a few kids at school started picking on him about it.
Leah and Vinnie are doing the craziest things to help them prepare for parenthood. Leah overheard some of the kids from school talking about a project they’re doing. They’ve been given bags of rice and they have to pretend they’re babies. Leah thought it would be a good idea to get into the swing of things, so she’s talked Vinnie into pretending a bag of flour is VJ. When Alf heard them talking about the ‘baby’ he thought they were crazy.
Jade’s taking the project a little too seriously. Both she and Nick went out on their first date. Jade insisted they take along the baby and be responsible parents. When they got home, Jade started freaking out because they’d left the baby behind at the cinema.
Shauna was telling June how upset she was about Sally yelling at her. June was telling Shauna she shouldn’t be wasting her time teaching. She’s trying to get Fisher to talk Shauna out of it, but Fisher’s not going to. He was insulted that June would devalue his career. Seems June is trying to do some matchmaking!
