Extended Summary
Kirsty is making dinner and no one wants to giver her a hand. Rhys forces Max to help. Rhys asks Shelley if she knows where the pies are, but Kirsty tells him that she disposed of them. Dani talks to Brodie about what Josh has siad on the phone. Brodie urges Dani to make the first move, but Dani doesn’t relent.
Nick gives Jade a run through of speech for Will’s wedding. Jade isn’t too impressed, there’s too many mentions of the his ex-girlfriends. Nick goes to find the ring, but when he looks through his room he can’t find it.
The next morning, Jade and Nick tell Seb and Kirsty about the missing ring and Jade, after much persuasion decides to go shopping with Nick to get a new one.
Dani talks to Josh about going to Uni. Dani tries to find reasons for Josh to stay, but she never gets round to telling him how she feels. They wish each other luck with the rest of their lives.
Don has stomach problems, as does a large majority of the school. Brodie has another go at talking to Don about her proposals for the school.
Jade and Nick look around the mall and they find the same ring, though a jeweller mistook them as the couple getting married.
Dani talks to Brodie about her talk with Josh on the way to school. Brodie says that she thinks someone from Reefton Lakes had sold the dodgy pies. Don tells her off for spreading rumours and so Don asks Seb where he got it from. Seb tries to lie, buts end up looking at Max. Don asks Max to come to his office. Kirsty has a go at Max for dobbing her in. Shelley and Rhys talk to Don about what the kids punishment. They ask if they can deal with Max. Jade and Nick return from their shopping trip, asking Seb for money and Jade becomes worried when she sees her parents, but is someewhat relieved when she finds out that it was for Kirsty.
Josh and Alf talk. Alf offers Josh the job for the next summer and then offers him some advice about his dilemma.
Kirsty and Max are picking up litter. Don watches them. Brodie gives Don a copy of what she’s sending into the paper.
Nick sells his Nintendo to another student to fund buying the ring.
Rhys and Shelley discuss how they are going to deal with Kirsty and Max after their trouble at school. Kirsty complains about her punishment. Josh comes around the house to drop in his van keys before leaving. They wish him well for the next year. Kirsty apologises to her dad about her recent behaviour.
Nick and Jade part ways after their exciting day.
Brodie and Dani talk about Josh in the kitchen. Dani finally decides she’s going to tell Josh how she feels, but as she runs towards the road, his car drives away and off into the distance.
