Extended Summary
Sally prompts Noah to have a counsellor style chat with the troubled Kim Hyde. The newcomer later disturbs Robbie by eyeing up Tasha, but impresses then both when he saves Noah’s life after a surfing accident. However, for some reason Kim doesn’t swim anymore.
Irene voices her anger at being fired through a job advertisement, and can’t believe Hyde has the audacity to ask her to write an advert for her own job.
Hayley is sinking into depression, and Noah is upset that she refuses to see him. However, he later receives a phone call from the hospital – she wants him to be present when the surgery specialist man comes to see her. He manages to cheer her up a tad by lying to her when she asks about the events of the past 12 months, relaying fantasies of holidays together etc. However, Noah instantly voices his regret to Flynn.
There’s a new couple in birthing class, and it’s all excitment as the woman suddenly goes into labour. Although it serves to increase Sally and Flynn’s excitement about parenthood, it only escalates Leah’s worries.
