CARAVAN PARK
Matilda makes souffle, and Max grumbles, wanting her to make cake or scones, or at least something normal, but Maddy reckons normal is “like totally boring”. Everyone is stunned when Kirsty walks through the door, with Max being the first to welcome her home, and relations between the twins are still tense. Kirsty states that she has come home because it IS her home, and she missed them all. When Maddy questions why she bothered to leave, Kirsty apologises for running out on them so suddenly – she should have told them what was going on. Shelley brought her back, and is out at her car with Beth and Rhys. Jade confesses that she’s happy to have her sister back, and they hug.

SURGERY
Kane and Flynn dicuss why he broke bail without thinking of the harm it would do to other people, and Flynn seems to gloss over the fact that he risked he and Sal’s ten thousand dollars. They concede that Kane did the right thing by coming back, and although Kane didn’t want to break the conditions of bail, he HAD to see Kirsty. Conversation turns to the proposed counselling, and Kane insists that he doesn’t need to know why he does things, he just wants to stop doing them – although Flynn is adamant that he must go the full way – unless he understands, he isn’t going to stop. Kane’s number one priority seems to be to win Kirsty back, and Flynn informs him that wanting Kirsty back is not a good enough reason to put himself through intensive counselling, although he admits that without the counselling, Kane’s chances of getting Kirsty back are significantly slimmer.

CARAVAN PARK
The gathering discuss Kirsty’s return, and Kirsty is intending to stay on in the Bay – if Rhys will have her. Rhys agrees, and Beth is also pleased to see Shelley again – apparently wanting some backup when it comes to handling Max, as if he were the main troublemaker in the house. Max subtely enquires is Kirsty will “um, you know… see your ‘friends'”. Kirsty announces that she does want to see Kane, and will be getting the AVO withdrawn ASAP – she assures Rhys that she’s sure about it.

FLYNN’S PLACE
Sally is stunned at Floss’ proposal as Floss tells her that there’s no one else she can turn to. Sally agrees to talk to Flynn about it – they’re going to need time to think about it. Floss is happy that Sally has agreed to give some thought to killing her, and they hug. Flynn interrupts the moment as he walks through from the surgery, having finished with Kane. Floss leaves hurridely to give Flynn and Sally some space, assuring the both of them that there’s not much that she’s afraid of – in this life or the next…

CARAVAN PARK
Jade’s diary has returned to the scene as she writes her latest thoughts on Kirsty – she loves her for coming back, but she hates her for going away in the first place. Kirsty comes out to the back porch to join her, wondering if she’d like to go for a coffee. Jade shuns her, opting for a date with Seb, before claiming that she wasn’t trying to push her away. Kirsty has been worrying that Jade would still be mad at her about the baby and everything, but Jade reckons it’s ok because she’s back now, and she can sort everything out by telling Rhys and Kane the truth. Things descend into an arguement as Jade tells Kirsty she hated having to lie for her when she did a runner – the only way she can make things up is by confessing. When Kirsty continues to insist that they can’t tell ANYONE – especially Kane – Jade comes out on Kane’s side – he has been so messed up about losing the baby. Kirsty wants to tell them the truth, and doesn’t like lying, but she didn’t want to hurt anyone. Jade states that she always puts herself first, before walking out in a huff.

WHARF
Upon arriving at the wharf, Scott discovers Hayley hidden amongst some boats, but she refuses to let him call Noah for her, despite there being lots of people out searching for her. He tells her that Noah is going out of his mind, and assures her that everything will be fine.

THE PALACE
Noah comes off the phone to Scott, hearing the news about Hayley, before talking to Dani about the Hayley issue, now that she’s back at square one, and just wants her to realise that she looks exactly the same. The major problem is that Hayley doesn’t trust any of them, and Dani talks him out of blaming himself for lying in the first place. He takes a look through the pictures again, and Dani advises him against using them – it could make things worse when Hayley realises that he’s tricking her, but Noah wants to take that risk.

CARAVAN PARK
Rhys and Shelley talk about the Kane situation – Rhys thought that as Kirsty had left and she had lost the baby, it would be the end of the relationship, and Shelley points out that by trying to make a go of the marriage takes guts. Rhys wishes that he’d spent time supporting her, as opposed to trying to damage the relationship, and if it’s what Kirsty wants he’s prepared to let Kane into the family. He credits Beth for making him see sense about things, and Shelley reckons he’s lucky – they both are… he returns the compliment, reckoning that he “got lucky twice”

THE PALACE
Hayley is home at last, and Noah tries to explain that the guy at the gym was complimenting her face, as he could see nothing wrong with it, but she doesn’t believe him – he wasn’t there. She isn’t happy at Noah’s implications that she’s being a ‘drama queen’, buy making things worse than they actually are. She refuses to believe that her face hasn’t changed, back to thinking that everyone is trying to protect her. No matter what people say, it doesn’t change how she feels. Noah can’t find anything more to say to her, and she asks for a hug – as he’s the ‘only one who still loves’ her.

CARAVAN PARK
Shelley is telling David over the phone that she and Kirsty will be getting the AVO withdrawn, and when she comes off the phone, Beth clocks onto the fact that David isn’t happy, as it was all his doing. Beth questions whether Kirsty actually got a say in anything, and tells Shelley that Rhys would have liked to be consulted before she and David went to the police. Shelley is sticking to her guns – besides, David’s a strong man and is capable of making decisions, whereas Rhys… Beth passes her an unusually cold look and she apologises. Beth frostily tells Shelley that Rhys has always been there for his family – that takes a lot of strength, and the Rhys that Shelley describes “doesn’t exist here”. Rhys walks in and puts a stop to the bickering, confused when Shelley makes a swift exit.

BREAK

THE PALACE
Hayley is looking through the pictures, and Noah points out that she looks ‘beautiful’, getting her agreement before letting her know that the picture was taken the previous day, by Seb. Hayley goes through disbelief to anger at Noah for his gameplaying, stating that it’s all a game to him, and she doesn’t have to put up with it. It’s his turn to be angry as he tells her he did it out of love – and if she doesn’t believe that then he gives up.

SURGERY
Hayley has come to see Flynn (who else?) about her mental issues regarding her face – everyones been trying to tell her she has got it wrong, and she’s terrified that she’s mad – especially given her mothers history. He reassures her that, after everything she has been through, her perception weill just be a bit ‘skewed’. She can’t believe that she is so concerned about the way she looks – she never used to be – but Flynn is supportive – it’s just a result of the accident, as it shook things up. She doesn’t know ‘who she is’ anymore, and just wants to get back to how things were. He suggests that she focus on painting – one of the most important things to her before the accident.

DINER
Kane mentions the ongoing Blaxland problem to Alf, but Alf brushes off the possibility of them losing the boat alogether. Excitement arises when Jade arrives, accompanied by Shelley – although Alf is delighted to see her again, Kane jumps to his guns, wanting to know whether Kirsty is back, and determined that they’re not going to stop him seeing her, as she’s his wife. As he races away, Jade snidely comments that all the mess is starting again.

CARAVAN PARK
Floss is chatting to Rhys about how it feels to be back in the Bay as Kane arrives, flustered and wanting to see Kirsty. Kirsty appears from the kitchen, and they establish that they need to talk, and go out onto the back patio, where he insists that the last thing he wants to do is hurt her. She admits that he scared her, and he promises that he’ll change – he’s getting help. She knows they have a lot to work through, but she still loves him, and he can’t understand why they still have a chance as he ‘killed their baby’. She is horrified at his train of thought, and the pair hug, with Kirsty (and quite possibly Kane as well?) in tears.

FLYNN’S PLACE
Sally is cooking, and Flynn notices that she is still very uset about Floss. He has spoken to the oncologist (sp?) but has no good news – there doesn’t look to be anything that can be done to help her. Shelley’s arrival interrupts Sally’s attempt to tell Flynn about Floss’ earlier proposal. Flynn and Shelley disappear into the surgery, where she voices her angst at her earlier arguement with Beth, and her criticism of Rhys. She wonders if she’s taking Rhys for granted, comments on the other side of Rhys that Beth has brought out – the part that she herself had forgotten about, and remarks on how well Beth is coping with the kids. Flynn points out that Kirsty went to her when she was in trouble (despite going to Beth for advice BEFORE doing a runner!) and no one will take away what she and Rhys had. Shelley and Beth have to sort things out, as they’re virtually family.

CARAVAN PARK
Beth tells Rhys that he did the right thing by allowing Kirsty and Kane to have some time to themselves to work through things, but he is still finding it hard. When Kirsty and Kane arrive back inside, Kirsty tells Rhys that she’ll be staying at Irene’s. Rhys calmly tries to shoot the idea down, and as Kirsty goes to argue back, Kane voices agreement with Rhys – perhaps they should wait until the AVO is lifted. As Kirsty goes to have a word with Kane before he leaves, Rhys comments that losing the baby has been hard on Kane, and as Kirsty bids Kane farewell, Beth gets Rhys out of the way. She confronts Kirsty about her actions, wanting to know why she isn’t telling Kane the truth – he has a right to know, and he has been heartbroken over something that never happened. Kirsty tries to explain how confused she was, but Beth is adamant that if she is really that serious about putting her marriage back together, then Kane must know the truth.

FLYNN’S PLACE
Sally casually tells Flynn that she wishes there was more they could do for Floss, and Flynn tells her the most important thing is that Floss doesn’t go through it alone. Sally drops into conversation that Floss has asked for their help when the time comes, and Flynn promptly hits the roof – no way, as he could get struck for even thinking about it this time. The quiet evening in descends swiftly into tension as Flynn refuses to discuss it, and walks out.
