Extended Summary

DANI/FELIX
Dani’s walking alone at uni when her friend Felix turns up. He goads her and jokes about her being ‘expelled’ She tells him that she knows he’s been in her house but of course, he denies it. She turns to leave and he darts in front of her and tells her not to turn her back on him.
She and Irene are going home in Dani’s car and they are both shocked by the awful pong! It gets so bad that at one point they have to abandon it and run out for some fresh air.
Later, Scott has checked it over and it was prawns and fish sauce – yuk! Felix’s fishy expoits are getting to Dani, but she’s not distracted enough to forget to make Scott take a shower before he touches her!
He catches up with her later and asks if she liked his birthday present, and asks if she knows why he’s giving her a present now when her birthday is in July. He says she’ll be getting some more, and hints that they’ll be even less pleasant…

KIRSTY/SAL
Kirsty’s in class with Summer Bay’s favourite teacher, Sally and let’s just say she’s having a little trouble – not with the work, but staying awake! After falling asleep twice, Sally finally notices that something is wrong and Kirsty finaly admits she’s not feeling well. Sal drives her home and insists to Irene that Flynn comes over to check her out. Both Sal and Kirsty comment on the funny smell hanging around Irene…
Flynn checks her over and he’s not quite sure exactly whats wrong – I’m guessing Leah’s braces absorbed all his SuperFlynn powers when they kissed a few weeks ago. After mentioning she has High blood pressure, Kane spurts a list of possible illnesses (SuperKane??!!) but none of them seem to fit. It’s amazing how this came on so quick!
Sally and Flynn are walking near the beach and the usual subject pops up. Flynn says he was confused about his feelings for Leah but he isn’t any more. Sally wishes she could have ‘given’ him the baby, but he points out that it has both their genes, lucky baby

VAL AND HER ASSOCIATED TRAUMA
Scott explains to Dani the situation and she points out that he was in an impossible situation, but he says Robbie doesn’t see it that way. He mentions the twins don’t really understand the whole thing yet.
Rhys is also hearing the story, from Beth. She says she basically ignored it for 15 years because she loved Jack, and although she did think of leaving with Scott and Kit (the others weren’t born yet), she didn’t have anywhere to go as her parents only wanted to say “I told you so!”. She says Rhys’ll probably think she’s a doormat, but he doesn’t. I agree, she’s more of an umbrella stand. Rhys is shocked because Shelley left him because he had one night with Angie, but she says both she and Shelley made their choices.
Tasha wonders why Robbie is so sad. He tries to explain but she doesn’t really understand the whole ‘cheating’ thing (just look at how she kissed Kim!) Robbie is so disappointed that his mum stayed with his dad after such a terrible thing.
Val catches Scott at the Blaxland, having found out he worked there from Alf, he wants her to stay away and chastises her for going to the house the other night, she says she had to see the family because Jack always talked about them so much.
Robbie is later helping Scott on the Blaxland but things are still very tense.
Meanwhile, Alf gives Val a free lunch/dinner at the diner. Robbie and Tasha come in and Robbie has a go at her for coming to town just to ruin their lives. Alf jumps to her defense (I think someone is in lurve). If this wasn’t enough Val interference for one day, she goes round to the house because she thinks it’s time she talked to Beth! She doesn’t seem to understand why Beth didn’t leave Jack, but insists she and Jack had a ‘connection’ Beth is unimpressed, esecially when Val lets slip she went to Jack’s funeral. She apologises, saying she had no right to be there, but says she had to come back home because she couldn’t stay away any longer. Both women are on the verge of tears as she leaves.
