Extended Summary
Preparations for the concert in honour of Noah are hotting up. Robbie is so anxious about the short time-frame to produce a program that Sally threatens to throw him out of class if he keeps disrupting it.
Dani and Scott consult on what they should do about the mysterious sketch drawing of Noah. Dani reckons as long as Hayley isn’t spinning out, they should just monitor the situation.
Kirsty is obsessing about having no talent to contribute to the concert. Suddenly she realises if she can’t do something special, she can at least line up someone who can! Kirsty knows Shelley has contacts in the entertainment industry – that will give her the perfect opportunity to accompany Dani into the city for a Father’s Day dinner with Rhys – something she was reluctant to do. Dani isn’t happy that Kirsty is using the dinner for her something other than honouring her father. But Kirsty tells Dani to be happy she’s decided to go – whatever the motives. Kane reassures Kirsty that there are no set rules when it comes to families, only conventions imposed by guilt. She should do whatever she feels is right.
Robbie’s is worried there won’t be enough acts for the concert! Matilda suggests Henry perform his ‘special’ talent to beef up the program. Henry is incensed! Matilda promised she would never reveal this ‘talent’ to anyone. Robbie and Tasha are intrigued, but Henry is adamant this secret will stay under wraps.
Colleen doesn’t let secrets stay under wraps. She blurts to Sally about Leah’s coming date with Dan. Leah snaps at her for going overboard in her enthusiasm about Dan. Colleen says she simply wants to see Leah find the love of her life again.
Leah has a heart-to-heart with Sally. She’s torn over the fact she wants to go out on a date when her husband could still be alive. She’s torn by the fact that even if Vinnie is alive, she may not actually want to re-unite with him! Sally says Vinnie is ‘officially’ dead; let him be dead! Leah says if Peter wakes up and tells her Vinnie’s alive, she’ll need ‘closure’. She hopes that’s all she will need.
Henry reluctantly agrees to reveal his special talent, In a Sutherland house ‘spectacular’, he wows Robbie and Tasha with a beautiful exhibition of… tap-dancing! Turns out he learnt it at school as a way of getting closer to ‘chicks’, but always wanted to keep it quiet because of the teasing Scott got when he did ballet as a boy. Robbie suggests they lighten his ‘embarrassment load’ by getting Scott to perform at the concert as well. Henry’s face lights up for the first time that day.
Scott and Dani find another sketch-drawing of Noah! This time Scott is determined to put his plan into action. He’s going to stay up all night to catch the mystery artist.
