Extended Summary

Morag pays a visit to Josie to warn her away from contesting the guardianship of Tasha. She is representing Flynn and Irene, and unlike other people in Summer Bay, she has the power to unearth dirt. Unless Josie backs off, Morag will bring her down. When Morag leaves, something odd happens. Josie receives a call from someone who has just witnessed the whole conversation; Josie’s apartment is wired for sight and sound and she knows it – it’s a Big Brother house!

Tasha is dreading telling Irene about her move into Josie’s house; how will she explain her decision? In the end she doesn’t need to. Josie tells her not to say anything to Irene – she’s working on something. It seems the Big Brother figure has instructed her to get Morag to back off. Tasha and Kane are astounded by Josie’s back flip. Kane thinks something is up. He asks Jesse if Josie has a hidden agenda. Jesse reassures him that Josie would never do anything to hurt Tasha.

But later on in the day, Josie has another conversation with the mysterious stranger on the phone. This time we find that the whole house had been fitted out so someone could watch Tasha – and Josie was going along with it! Now the person instructs Josie to let Tasha stay at Irene’s. What’s going on? Even Josie is a bit perplexed.

Meanwhile, Leah is all a flutter after her date with Dan Baker. Dan makes it clear he wants to keep going out with Leah and he won’t take no for an answer! Later that day at Leah’s house, Dan reveals that he doesn’t want to go slow with Leah; they kiss passionately… it seems Leah agrees with him.

Josie continues her litany of surprises. She stuns Flynn by revealing she’s not planning on contesting the guardianship of Tasha! Her one condition is that she can see Tasha when she wants. And one other thing – she doesn’t want to lose face with Tasha after she already promised her she could move in. Flynn promises to take care of that.

Flynn tells Tasha that Irene’s decision to work at the Diner full-time will put pressure on her heart-condition; it’s important that Tasha is there to help around the house. Tasha is thrown – she didn’t know Irene had a heart condition! She immediately goes to the Diner and assures Irene that she’ll always be there for her. She then visits Josie and lets her in on the sad news – they can’t move in together. Josie is (mock) hurt – but understanding. Flynn’s little white lie worked a treat.

Morag’s hackles are up. She is totally suspicious of Josie’s move; she’s determined to find out what’s going. And she’s right to be suspicious. Behind all the strange behaviour, lies a shadowy figure that appears to be pulling Josie strings.
