A shock discovery devastates Hayley. Sparks fly between Kim and Kit. Leah makes a rash decision about Dan. Dani confronts Alf – what is he hiding?
Extended Summary
Leah arrives at Sally’s house with a dilemma – what should she do regarding the disturbing news about Dan’s past? Sally tells her to calm down – if she gives in to unproven suspicions she might jeopardise her relationship with Dan. But Leah is determined to put a hold on things. When Leah almost finds Kane hiding in the other room, Sally makes an excuse and quickly bundles her out of the house.
Kirsty warns Kim that playing games with Kit will only land him in trouble. And she’s right! Hayley has told Kit the truth. She now knows that Kim has been riling her just because he thinks she’s hot when she loses it. Kit confronts him and warns him that if he pushes matters further she’ll give him a swift kick in the crown jewels. Kim just laughs and tells her how cute she is. She hits the roof and kicks him there. Kim’s in pain, but obviously his equipment is still working – he’s now more interested in Kit than ever! Later, Kit manages to surprise Kim even more by asking him over for dinner. Kim is initially thrown by her assertiveness, but agrees.
While sorting through a box of Noah’s belongings, Hayley finds an insurance policy. It turns out that Noah’s left her a huge sum of money. She is overcome with emotion and breaks down on the beach, sobbing. The loss of Noah is suddenly sweeping over her. Kit tries to comfort her. But Hayley doesn’t want the money; she wants Noah back in her arms. Kit manages to get through to Hayley, their friendship now stronger than ever. She decides to do something with the money that would make Noah proud.
Whilst talking to Kane on the phone, Kirsty becomes suspicious. Cracks are starting to show in his cover story, and Kirsty can tell from his tone of voice that he is hiding something. She questions Scott and Alf about Kane’s charter. But they haven’t heard of the guy Kane says hired him. She is getting more and more suspicious. She turns to Dani and the two sisters bond for the first time since Rhys left the Bay.
Meanwhile, Kane has found out the details of his first chemo treatment for next week. How is he going to cover the physical evidence of the operation and the side effects of chemo?
Dani questions Alf over his interest in the Guv’s book. From Alf’s expression it’s obvious he’s about to drop a bombshell. What is he hiding?
