It’s Christmas time in Summer Bay. Kim has an indecent proposal for Kit. Tasha makes the biggest decision of her life. How will Kane react to Kirsty’s surprise?

Extended Summary
It’s Christmas time in Summer Bay – well at least for the Hunters. With Scott and Kit leaving for Paris tomorrow the Hunters are giving Beth the family Christmas she deserves, albeit a tad early. Robbie gives Kim a very special present – Kim can have the bedroom totally to himself tonight. Robbie’ll stay with Tasha. Kim wants Kit to spend the night with him, but will she agree?
Scott now knows of Kit and Kim’s burgeoning romance, so he gives her a chance to back out of the trip. But she says she’s definitely going. She and Kim have decided that if the romance is meant-to-be, then it will survive a 6 weeks separation.
At breakfast, the Hunters exchange Christmas gifts. The kids give Beth a framed photo of them in front of a banner which reads – “Mum Rocks!” Beth is touched – it’s the best start to Christmas ever!
Kirsty gives Kane a very special gift – she’s pregnant. The two are overjoyed and revel in their love for each other. Kirsty’s realised the baby must have been conceived on the night before Kane had his operation – a night where they truly connected. Kane now has renewed determination to get better and not to let anything stand in the way of his family’s happiness.
Alf, however, is still reeling from the loss of the son he never knew. Also, Flynn’s search for Dalby in the city is not going well. Alf is desperate to talk and so reveals everything to Irene about his dead son and Dalby. She is shocked, but supports him like a true friend.
Later, the Hunters share a magic Christmas dinner. Everyone seems to be having a wonderful night, except for Tasha. Something has been playing on her mind. She tells Robbie she’s made the biggest decision of her life. Beth has had a lovely time and is blissfully unaware of the clandestine plans of Robbie and Kim.
Kit has agreed to spend the night with Kim. After everyone has gone to bed, Kim sneaks her into his bedroom. They both realize that while neither of them are virgins, this is the first time that they will spend an entire night with someone. They kiss passionately and start to make love. Meanwhile, Robbie has slipped into Tasha’s room. He’s a little nervous about sleeping in her bed, so stays on top of the covers. (It’s the ultimate form of protection!) Tasha finally reveals her decision to him and he’s shocked.
The next morning as Scott and Kit are farewelled outside the Diner, Tasha drops her bombshell on Irene – she wants to finally meet her father Ian Osborne and wants both Irene and Josie to go with her.
