In the aftermath of Graham’s funeral, Amanda plots her final revenge on the Hunter family. The Hunter’s are outraged at the reading of Graham’s will.

The sun rises on a difficult day for the Hunter family as they prepare for Graham’s funeral. Robbie tries to make sense of what he has done as Tony continues to persist with Beth. She remains cold in response to his attempts – how can she simply forgive and forget after what he has put her through! Tony has been trying for days to apologise – Robbie stresses that Mum will come around eventually. Beth can’t believe Tony told Jack that he suspected Beth of turning off her father’s life support! She is still very hurt by it all…Meanwhile, the new ‘grieving’ widow Amanda is dressed for the funeral and her apartment is set up for Graham’s wake. Josh is frantic having lost all avenues for potential bankrolling for Project 56 – but Amanda is adamant that she will still get her hands on Graham’s cash. Josh thinks the post nup has stopped all hope of that happening – but Amanda is determined to find a way to win! Beth isn’t so sure she can go to Amanda’s for the wake – it’s all too much. Beth tenses at the sight of Tony as he and Lucas arrive, but he persists, knowing Beth needs the support, as the group head off to the church for the service.
At the service Robbie is completely zoned out, lost in his guilty thoughts as Tasha tentatively takes his hand as support… Mixed reactions bubble through the grave side as Amanda enters. At the end of the service, she reminds everyone that the wake is happening at her place – but Beth can’t do it. The others agree and decide to move the wake to the Hunter House instead.
As everyone moves off, Robbie is staring down at Graham’s grave, a haunted look in his eyes. Tasha tries to talk to him, but with no response. She studies his face and when their eyes meet she knows what is going on – she asks him if he switched off the machine. His look says it all… He explains to Tasha that he couldn’t handle Amanda making a mockery of Grandad any longer and that he feels guilty for not outing Amanda and Josh’s affair earlier… As the tears begin to roll, Tasha holds Robbie close as he breaks down in her arms.
Everyone is gathered at Beth’s for the wake – she hopes that Amanda doesn’t have the nerve to show her face as… Amanda stands alone in her apartment, wondering where everyone is. It doesn’t take her long to twig – they’re all at Beth’s place! She picks up her handbag and leaves. The buzz of conversation at the wake falls silent – Beth turns to see Amanda standing in the doorway! Amanda plays it polite but Beth doesn’t hold back, she orders her out of the house! Robbie continues to beat himself up for what he has done. Tasha tells him it was an act of love and bravery. Can Robbie forgive himself for what he has done?
Amanda fills Josh in on the day’s events -It has simply made her more determined than ever to get her hands on Graham’s cash… Financial backers arrive and demand to know what the status is on Project 56. If Josh and Amanda don’t come up with their cash pronto there will be hell to pay! Josh is frantic, yet Amanda is disturbingly calm – she reveals that she’s just figured out exactly how to fix this – what on earth is she planning now? Tony tries once more to apologise to Beth when she breaks down and tells him that the reason she was so angry with him is because she was actually thinking about turning off the life support but couldn’t bring herself to do it. Tony holds Beth tight.
The executor of Graham’s Will arrives and all hell breaks lose when Amanda walks in – it is announced that a handwritten Will from Graham written days before his death states everything is to be left to Amanda! The Hunter’s react with horror as Amanda smiles in victory.
