Extended Summary

Ric is defending himself to his boss Ray about Dom being covered in bruises – he only hit him once for cracking onto his girlfriend! Ray wanted to fire Ric on the spot, but Dom talked him out of it – thinks they can work out their differences. Ric tries to show Ray that this is all a game for his nephew; he tried to electrocute Ric last week! And the acid incident! Ray points out there isn’t any proof that Dom did that – Ric bites back – just as their isn’t any proof that I bashed Dom within an inch of his life! Ric reckons nothing will change because Dom is his family – Ray reminds him that he’s free to resign if he doesn’t like it. But Ric isn’t going to back down – he won’t give into Dom’s games! Ray barks orders at Dom and Ric all day and Dom finds a broken car jack and gets an idea… He tells Ric that he has to finish up his job for him on a car that’s jacked up on the broken one Dom found! Ric works under the car, oblivious that with every move he makes, the jack buckles! Dom is smiling, expecting the car to fall on it’s tyres, giving Ric one hell of a fright – what Dom doesn’t realize is that there’s no air in the tyres! The jack gives way, the car falls and Ric screams – the car is pinned to his chest! He’s trapped! The other mechanics come running, they can’t lift the car – Dom finds a way to get Ric out, coughing and spluttering he emerges as Ray yells out for someone to call an ambulance! Dom’s gone too far this time! The ambo inspects Ric – he’s lucky he didn’t get killed! Ray notices the jack and realizes this wasn’t an accident – he demands to know who put it there?! Ray pressures Dom, thinking he did it. He admits it was, but he didn’t know there was no air in the tyres – it was meant to be a joke! Ray shakes his head the bully is now the loser! Ric returns home, Belle is looking after him as Sally reacts to the news about Ric being bullied all this time – why didn’t he say something? Ric promises to tell them if it happens again – he thought he could handle it. They are interrupted by Ray. Alf starts to have a go at him – he should’ve known this was happening! Ray agrees, he’s come to apologise to Ric. He’s fired Dom and wants to know if Ric would like to still work for him? Ric agrees – he’d like that a lot… Belle and Ric are having dinner at the Diner when Dom walks in – he tries to apologise to Ric. He doesn’t accept his apology, he tells him to get a life and to sort out his issues! Get some help or you’ll be a loser the rest of your life!

At the Hunter House, Beth and Tony are discussing the state of the place over the last few days – Mattie has been staying with Cassie to avoid Lucas – and he’s being moody and rude! It’s really starting to affect Tony… Beth has a word to Lucas – she’s worried about him and his behaviour. Lucas responds rudely and heads out! Meanwhile, Matilda is determined to not be down about Lucas having been with Lee, but is finding it tough, she thinks they slept together – she’s such a scrag! And Mattie was hoping her first time would be with Luc… Hal and Laurence give Luc a ribbing when Lee texts him – she’s keen mate! Beth enters the Surf Club, giving Lucas a look – she’s clearly still annoyed at him for bringing Lee home that night. Lee enters and is instantly flirty with Lucas, but he’s not wanting a relationship, he just broke up with Mattie. Hal and Laurence are up for a party tonight – they get an idea – Lucas has to sweet talk Beth and make her think everything is back to normal – then he can take the keys to the surf club bar for them to party in! Lucas is behaving like an angel that night at dinner – everyone is surprised, but no one more than Beth. Beth and Tony are clearing the plates and Lucas goes for the keys! No one clocks it – then Mattie asks Lucas if Lee found him today? She did and she’s not my girlfriend. Mattie comments that he must just be using Lee. The Surf Club is dark as Lucas, Lee, Hal and Laurence enter and head straight to the bar! They are getting trashed and making a mess, breaking stuff etc when Lee takes Lucas to the corner for a steamy kiss!

Next morning Beth is at the Surf Club, she rummages through her bag – where are her keys? She sees the bar key is missing and the door is open! She moves inside and is angered at the sight of Hal and Laurence sprawled on the floor, empty bottles and glasses everywhere as Lucas wakes with Lee curled next to him across the room. Beth is shocked and furious at Lucas.
