Peter admits his true feelings for Amanda after watching her come close to death. Johnny’s threats force Rocco to commit another crime. Tensions rise between Matilda and Belle. Brad lands himself in trouble with the law following a drug raid at the school.
Extended Summary
Amanda is laying unconscious on the floor when Ryan and Dan arrive. Dan peers through the window and races inside to help Amanda. He is panicked when he realises there’s no pulse and yells at Ryan to get the phone. Meanwhile, Peter and Leah have crossed paths on the beach and Leah is fishing for info on his new mystery woman. Without mentioning Amanda’s name Peter confides that he’s attracted to someone he shouldn’t be. Leah offers the advice he should just follow his heart. Peter is given food for thought and moves off to talk to Amanda. But when he arrives at her house he is confronted with the commotion of the ambulance officers trying to revive her.
Peter is shocked and overwhelmed with guilt when he discovers the accident was caused by the lamp he broke. The ambo officers keep trying and eventually they get Amanda’s pulse. She is raced to hospital and begins to make a speedy recovery. Peter enters Amanda’s room and both admit that having come so close to death, has made them realise they’ve got to make the most of things. Peter and Amanda admit their true feelings for each other but both decide that they can’t act on them because of Drew.
Johnny meanwhile is gloating to the boys about stirring up Brad at the Diner. Rocco arrives and Johnny requests he needs to find some money and fast. Rocco tries to hide his disgust when Johnny suggests he steal it from Sally. Having been beaten into submission last week, Rocco decides not to challenge Johnny anymore. Johnny hands over some drugs and orders Rocco to sell them at school. Alf is working away on the computer when Rocco returns. He yells out to Sally about the cash transfer he is about to make for the caravan park accounts. Rocco’s ears prick up… and idea is forming. Later in the night, Rocco sneaks to the computer and figures out the password to Sally’s bank account. He hits the funds transfer button and although he hates doing this to her – he feels he has no choice.
The next morning, Rocco is at school when he exchanges the drugs with one of the students, Greg. Later in the day as the students move to their next class, they are distracted by the arrival of several police officers. Harper reveals to Brad they’ve had an anonymous tip off there have been drugs sold at the school and have a warrant to do a locker search. Rocco begins to panic as they move to Greg’s locker and discover the drugs. Despite, Greg’s denial they haul him off to the cop shop leaving Rocco to sweat it out – will Greg spill the beans on who sold him the drugs?
A panicked Rocco races to the park to fill Johnny in on what happened at the school but Johnny remains calm, insisting he has taken care of everything. Down at the cop station, Greg arrives with the announcement he wants to make a statement about who sold him the drugs – is Rocco about to be busted?
Rocco returns to school and the other students are milling around, gossiping about the earlier drug raid. A police officer arrives and everyone stops to stare, Rocco is immediately on edge. Brad approaches and the police officer reveals Greg has made a statement and asks Brad to come to the Station because he is reported as being the one who dealt the drugs. Brad is absolutely stunned!
