Following the local newspaper article on Naomi and Lucas’ brief affair Brad is suspended by the education department. Sally’s supportive and loving, assuring him that this is only a temporary situation but the issue is further complicated when Sally is informed that she’s to be the acting Principal. Colleen becomes increasingly distraught by the trouble she’s caused them and tries to write an article of apology for the next issue of the paper… a nice idea that Alf inadvertently almost scuttles.
While at home being a “house husband” and looking after Pippa Brad discovers a supply of Diazepam in Alex’s belongings. He’s bemused as to why he’d have them and mentions it to Sally when she arrives home. Sally doesn’t think it’s any of their business and that they shouldn’t be snooping around Alex.
Alone at home Alex takes delivery of the missing suitcase and immediately dumps all the clothes out on the floor. He uncovers a false bottom in the bag and large stashes of prescription medications are revealed.
