Ric and Cassie return to the Bay. Cassie braces herself outside Sally’s room at the hospital, preparing to tell Sally everything. Anxiously and nervously, she enters. Sally’s face lights up -happy to see Cassie. Their emotions threaten to overwhelm them, so relieved to be reunited. Cassie insists she has something to tell Sally. Sally assures her she knows about the baby. Cassie admits that’s not all and it’s taken her until now to feel strong enough to tell her she’s HIV positive. Despite her immediate shock, Sally insists she will support Cassie every step of the way. Cassie is hugely relieved her secret has been revealed but curiously wonders who told Sally about the baby. Sally smiles enigmatically – and decides to keep that one to herself.

Down at the beach, Drew and Belle spot Jazz and are immediate suspicious as to why she’s back. Jazz insists she’s come back to pay her condolences to Dan but Drew believes she must have some sort of ulterior motive. Jazz heads over to see Leah, only to come face to face with Amanda. Given their history the two women are immediately tense with one another. They share a heated exchange which ends with them both slapping each other across the face.
