Extended Summary
After the news that Johnny was murdered, Sam tries her best to appear shocked. Nurse Julie, who is unaware that Sam switched the injection she administered to Johnny, is questioned by police. Jack discovers Sam was at the hospital when Johnny died and Jack also needs to take her statement. She claims she doesn’t remember anything but then feels that they might discover the truth and creates a lie of seeing a man wandering round the hospital at the time of the incident. To try to get her to remember more detail of the man, Rachel suggests hypnotherapy. Sam has no choice but to agree and through this process, tangles herself further into a web of lies. Rachel develops inklings of suspicions.
Martha and Roman’s relationship begins to heat up but she is careful to try and take things slowly… how long can ‘slow’ last?
Grateful for a fresh start, Miles reveals to Bartlett that he has decided to accept his teaching offer. Despite wanting to move on in life, Miles is hesitant and somewhat scared about taking on the position particularly with students like Aden being completely disapproving and disrespectful to him. Miles is impressed when Roman comes up with a plan to help Aden develop some respect for him.
In the meantime, the growing interest Geoff receives from girls has heightened his interest in them. Annie is bemused over his recent behaviour and confused as to why he is always so distant and distracted when girls are around; particularly Britney. Eventually Annie catches on and is disappointed in her brothers’ taste in women, suggesting other girls who she deems appropriate. How will Geoff react to her matchmaking ways?
