Can Annie and Geoff trust Nicole to help them? The identity of Oliver’s mother is revealed. We see another side of Aden.
Extended Summary
Aden’s still avoiding Nicole after their aborted hook up, and she’s getting more and more curious. It’s almost as if he’s scared of the physical contact. When she does manage to talk to him, her jibes are only meant to be a bit of fun, but for Aden they cut deeper than intended, reminding him of his abuse at the hands of his grandfather.
Not knowing what to do, he visits Rachel, hoping she can tell him why, even though he wanted to be with Nicole, he couldn’t go through with it. Wanting to help, Rachel offers Aden the card of a good psychologist, but the humiliation of going to anyone else is too much for Aden and he leaves, still preferring to suffer alone than reveal his weakness.
Geoff is still reeling after receiving Christine’s AVO, and unless he wants to take her to court, he’s powerless to do anything about it. He can’t believe he’s being treated like a criminal when, as far as he’s concerned, he’s done nothing wrong. Despite Irene’s warning not to, Annie goes immediately to see Melody, bumping into Nicole on her way.
Feeling bored and alone, when Nicole hears of Geoff’s dilemma, she wants to help out. Annie’s hesitant at first, but she can’t ignore the merit of Nicole’s plan, and soon she’s sneaking into Melody’s house to deliver Nicole’s mobile. This way Melody can call Geoff without Christine knowing. They’re both ecstatic just to hear each other’s voices, but when a well meaning Roman calls his daughter’s phone, and it goes off in front of Christine, the plan goes bust. While Roman manages to calm Christine down a little, he’s not going to let Nicole off the hook so easily this time. She’s grounded.
With Oliver in hospital, Irene is doing everything she can to reassure his mother, revealed to be Kirsty. Oliver is Kane and Kirsty’s son.
