Ross has a surprising proposal for Morag. Jai and Axel run amok at the school camp. Nicole is her own worst enemy.

Extended Summary

After her surprisingly successful first day as school secretary, Bartlett reveals to Kirsty that he’s aware of her computer illiteracy. But while she can always learn computer skills, she has a knack with the kids you can’t learn, and he’s very impressed. With everything out in the open, it seems Kirsty may really be able to make a go of this job.

Still sulking after Geoff’s rejection and Kirsty’s lecture, Nicole spots Roman jogging along the beach with Charlie. When she sees them again in the Diner, flirting, she confronts them, demanding to know if they’re an item or not, feeling betrayed by her father for, in her eyes, choosing Charlie over her. His attempt to talk to her is fruitless, with Nicole choosing to take his words the wrong way.

Ross and Charlie have something big planned. They’ve booked out the Diner, and they’ve got flowers and candles ready to decorate it. When Morag arrives she’s taken slightly aback to find Charlie waiting alone for her outside. But Charlie’s only there to apologise, and wish Morag well with Ross. Then inside, Ross sits at a candlelit table, ready for a romantic dinner with the perfect dessert; a marriage proposal.

Encouraged by Ross and Morag’s show of romance, things are heating up between Roman and Charlie, and she’s getting more and more used to the idea of a relationship.

Sick of being an outcast, Axel decides he and Jai should forget about what other people think and just go wild. At the school camp, the pair slip into the kitchen, and sneak back out with a full plastic bag. When Bartlett and Kirsty here Annie scream, they come running to find Annie staring in terror at Jai on the ground, bloody and seemingly in pain. But he soon begins to pull pieces of meat from inside his shirt as Axel enters the scene, wrapped in toilet paper and pretending to be a mummy.

As they prepare to leave on the school camp, Nicole just makes things worse and worse for herself, intent on turning everyone into an enemy. Sick of it all, when she spots a rough looking kitchen hand at the camp, she decides to introduce herself. Though a few years older than her, he’s not averse to her attention. Seeing Nicole put herself so forward, Geoff is worried about her.

Especially when, later that night, he spies her heading into the bush with the kitchen hand and a six pack of beer. He alerts Kirsty, and the two find Nicole and the kitchen hand mid hook up and in a state of undress. Nicole is furious at Geoff for dobbing on her. Before Kirsty can even get Nicole on her feet and on her way back Bartlett arrives, Nicole is in deep trouble.
