Hugo reconnects with his family. Angelo is determined to catch Hugo and suspects Gina knows something. Nicole is struggling to cope following Aden’s departure.

Extended Summary
Martha wakes up to find Hugo sitting over her, she’s relieved to have him back and immediately kisses him. After calming down, the family try and catch up on the how’s and whys of Hugo’s return. But they aren’t given much time to catch up, when Angelo and Charlie arrive. Hugo has to duck out of sight and everyone is nervous, wondering if he’ll be discovered.
Angelo senses Gina knows something about Hugo and wants to follow up. When they arrive, the whole family is there, and none of them are particularly helpful. Gina and Martha firmly deny knowing anything more about Hugo. When Angelo asks if they can take a look around, Gina takes a stance and says that they can do so, if they have a search warrant. This throws Angelo and makes him even more certain that Gina has something to hide. After Gina throws them out, Angelo set up surveillance on Gina’s house and the Farm House. Knowing that Angelo may be watching, Hugo insists that everyone should act normal, which means Martha has to leave and go back to the farm – but only after she’s made him promise that he won’t leave her again.
Angelo stays out all night watching the Farm, but doesn’t find anything. The next morning, Angelo tells Charlie that he wants to up the ante on the surveillance, watching Gina and Xavier around the clock, and Charlie is worried this may turn into another of Angelo’s obsession. Despite Gina’s warnings, and the fact that Charlie is watching the farm, Hugo manages to sneak in to see Martha, where they kiss passionately.
Nicole is down in the dumps after Aden’s departure, and nothing Miles or Ruby do can cheer her up. She bursts into tears and Ruby has to comfort her. Nicole’s adamant she did the right thing, as much as it hurts right now – Aden’s future wasn’t with her. She’s just finding moving on very difficult. Liam also comes to check on her, and after a talk with a session of ping-pong on the dining room table, Nicole is starting to feel better about things.
Miles is making good progress since Rabbit’s departure, and his doctor has been in touch with Gina to say that he is fit to teach. However when Miles sees Gina he finds out that word has got out about his mental state, and parents are threatening to remove their children from his classes. A P&C meeting has been scheduled for the next afternoon where Miles will have to present his case to everyone. Gina says that she will support him all the way.
