Hugo is angry with himself for coming back – he brought all this trouble, he’s the cause of the problems. He and Tony try and come up with a plan, but they can’t think of anything and arrive at the exchange. Will they go through with it?
Ruby can’t believe how Xavier has been acting, getting angry with Liam is just plain wrong. But Nicole wants her to admit she has a crush on Liam. Ruby refuses – there is nothing going on. She apologises to Liam for the way Xavier was behaving, but he insists on telling Gina everything. The way Ruby’s talking, Nicole thinks she’s putting her relationship with Xavier on the line because of her crush. She eventually admits she likes Liam.
After having a chat with Alf, Liam goes to tell Ruby that they should call their music partnership off. However moved by her guilt for all the angst, Ruby gets there first admitting her drama is too big a price for their collaboration. Seeing her sincerity Liam convinces Ruby, and himself, that as long as they keep things professional their music partnership can continue. Ruby is delighted but Liam can’t help regret the words a little as soon as they come out of his mouth. Has he just made a big mistake?
