Penn reports his wallet and i-pod missing and Miles calls Charlie to add it to the list of stolen items. Colleen arrives at her mobile home and discovers the stolen goods inside. Shocked at how they got there she cryptically questions Miles about lost property in the park, saying she’s come across some spare change – and she can’t figure out where she’s got it from. Later, when Charlie arrives to question holiday makers, she stumbles upon a confused Colleen, who is attempting to retrace her steps. Charlie catches up with her as she reaches her mobile home and, seeing the items in Colleen’s house, has no choice but to arrest her. Colleen tells Charlie she doesn’t know how the items got there, and is concerned she might be losing her mind, and is devastated at being arrested. Once down at the station, a distressed Colleen is placed in a cell where she will remain until she’s charged. she is offered a phone call but she refuses it – she thinks everyone will disown her.
Miles finds Mr Oddly in the dryer, and Alf tells him that he threw him in the sea – Alf is convinced that either Marilyn or Miles put him in the dryer, and he isn’t impressed. Marilyn is shocked that Alf threw Mr Oddly in the sea, but all he wants is to know who bought him back into the house – Miles or Marilyn? However, both are adamant they aren’t responsible. Marilyn is annoyed that, after all her hard work, Alf could even think of disposing of Mr Oddly – he tells her the way to make sure he doesn’t keep trying to get rid of him is to make sure she doesn’t keep resurrecting him. Marilyn is firm in telling him she isn’t responsible for him coming back, and speculates that maybe he really is possessed.
John tells Alf that the Surf Club is in financial trouble. The new fitness centre in the area is killing them. John tells Alf they need to diversify and the best way to do it is to rent out the new extension to another business and let that pay for a refurb of the Club. Alf is unsure, but Marilyn thinks it’s a great idea – and the reality is that, without it, the Club will be broke within a year. Alf consults the rest of the committee and they all seem very keen on the idea.
Meanwhile, Angelo is down in the dumps post his dismissal from the force. Charlie tells him to make a list of the other things he wanted to be when he was growing up. Later, Marilyn stumbles upon the list and is excited by what it contains. Angelo tells her it’s a pipe dream, but Marilyn’s not so sure – perhaps she has an answer to his career dilemma…
Nicole asks Xavier why she hasn’t seen him round the house lately, and he tells her he still hasn’t made up with Romeo – Nicole fills him in on what’s happened with Jill. It seems as though Xavier’s attitude toward Romeo may be thawing. Gina struggles with Xavier’s anger over John Palmer moving in. John tells Gina about Xavier’s threat to make his life a living hell but, despite that, he’s having no second thoughts. She tells him he has to grow up realise the world doesn’t revolve around him and learn to live with it. Later, Gina apologises for coming on too strong before, before telling Xavier he must help John move his belongings in that night and Xavier isn’t happy. Things get off to a cold start but Xavier begins to thaw eventually, but tells Gina he’s doing it for her and not for John.
