Extended Summary

Ruby is mortified in the wake of having kissed Liam. She confides her actions in Nicole, who tries to buoy her friend, telling her she’s sure Liam will understand if Ruby explains it to him. But Ruby can’t think of anything worse than talking to Liam right now. Meanwhile, Liam tells Bianca about the kiss and she’s furious. She berates Liam for continuing to see Ruby when he knew she had feelings for him. She insists Liam tell Gina what happened and get his side of the story on record – if Gina finds out through another source, it will be Liam that suffers the consequences, regardless of whether he encouraged Ruby or not. Liam refuses to tell Gina, believing Ruby has suffered enough trauma already – this could really ruin things for her. Liam talks to Ruby and tells her they can’t see each other anymore – not even to play music together, that’s all on hold – indefinitely. Ruby is shattered. Later, Bianca confronts Ruby and tells her to get over her crush on Liam, if she doesn’t, she’ll destroy his life.

Sid is concerned that Penn is playing games with Nicole. He tells Marilyn that Penn admitted to lying to Nicole about Sid’s feelings for her. It was all part of a plan to try and call Nicole’s bluff regarding her feelings for Sid. Marilyn says they need to talk to Nicole, but when she tries to call her, Penn comes along and tells Marilyn that Sid’s lying about what he told her. Marilyn talks to Miles and they have a meeting with Sid. Sid confirms he has no feelings whatsoever for Nicole, and Miles decides it’s time they told her what Penn is doing. Nicole reacts badly to the news, defending Penn and accusing the others of trying to sabotage their relationship because they don’t like him. Despite her words, it’s clear there is some doubt in her mind about Penn.

Gina and John are enjoying their time together, but feeling the tension a full house brings. Bianca has taken over the bathroom and there are constant interruptions to Gina and John’s quiet time together. April feels bad they are encroaching on Gina’s personal space and apologises for Bianca’s behaviour. Later, she confides in Xavier her worry that Gina will kick them out. Xavier tells her to chill, it’s all good.
