Ruby insists the alcohol was a gift for Charlie and it was Irene’s idea that Ruby buy it for her. Charlie confronts Irene, telling her how idiotic it was to suggest a teenager buy alcohol as a gift. It’s clear Irene has more to say on the matter, but Charlie puts an end to any more conversation, telling Irene that she’s taking Ruby home to live with her – permanently. Later, Ruby tries to apologise to Indi for getting her into trouble, but Indi’s not interested. She no longer wants to be friends with Ruby.

Sid is desperately disappointed in his daughter and let’s her know just how hurt he is by her actions. Later, Sid tells Marilyn he’s worried he was too hard on Indi. Marilyn tells him to talk to Indi, tell her he’s new to sole parenting but he still loves her, regardless of what she’s done. Sid catches up with Indi on the beach, but she quickly puts an end to Sid’s explanation, berating herself and striding off – leaving Sid feeling very inadequate.
Angelo is beating himself up over Indi’s underage alcohol sale. Despite being let off with a caution, he feels it’s unfair that Indi will receive a fine, he’s her employer – surely he’s responsible. Charlie tells him that Indi can’t be seen to be getting away without any punishment and Alf thinks he should take his caution and let Indi deal with her own mess, but Angelo’s still unsure. Later, he tells Charlie he’s come to a decision – he’s taking the matter to court. He wants to argue Indi’s case and get her fine revoked. Charlie tells him that if he loses he could face gaol time, but Angelo doesn’t care – it’s the right thing to do.
Bianca couldn’t be more unimpressed over her enforced library duty with Liam. He takes advantage of this, enjoying her displeasure and goading her whenever possible. Despite her protests about having to spend time with him, is there a hint of interest from both parties at this imposed pairing?
