Extended Summary
Liam is disappointed to hear about Bianca’s love for her ex, Vittorio. Soon enough they are in another argument as Liam thinks Bianca could have been more subtle about telling him – but she is adamant that he wanted honesty, and that’s exactly what she gave him. The next morning on the beach, Liam admits to Romeo that he’s falling in love with Bianca, whilst at the beach house, Irene and April are treated to one of Bianca’s tantrums. When she’s calmed down, Bianca tells April she’s been in daily contact with Vittorio and admits her true feelings. April understands that Bianca doesn’t want to be in love with Vittorio, but reminds her that Liam won’t wait around forever.
Later, Bianca tries to apologise to Liam but he seems distracted. Liam reveals to Bianca that the record company called and are interested in signing Liam but not Ruby – he wonders how he’s going to tell her. After seeing Ruby looking distant, Gina suggests to Liam that he keep an eye on her, not realising he’s the very reason why Ruby hasn’t been herself.
Xavier asks Romeo and April for advice about what to do with Charlie’s request to hand over some of Hugo’s money to help out Paulie. Xavier’s worried that if he hands the money over to a police officer, then it could be traced back to him. John has been getting parts together for doing up the car, and Gina is pleased that the activity seems to have helped John and Xavier bond. Gina can sense Xavier is troubled by something and asks a reluctant John to try and talk to him. John gives Xavier good advice, telling him to make the decision he can live with the most, then live with it. John assures Xavier that he will know the opportunity when it comes along. It’s a light bulb moment for Xavier who then calls Charlie and tells her she can have the money, but she has to take every single cent of it.
When Leah shares her concerns about sending the letter to Elijah, Miles assures her that Elijah probably will respond to her letter. Leah admits that she’s not even sure what she wants out of this communication. Leah is wondering if she made the right decision by sending Elijah a letter at all. When Irene becomes involved in the discussion at the Diner, Leah is more confused than ever by Miles and Irene’s conflicting views. Miles suggests calling Elijah instead – then Leah might have an immediate answer to her concerns. Leah flatly refuses at first, but after some wise words from Irene, she relents and calls Elijah.
