Extended Summary
Robertson is still questioning Nicole over the sequins when Alf arrives and insists Robertson leaves. Alf is very concerned at the effect the investigation is having on his loved ones. Robertson decides to question Colleen, who revels in being of assistance to the police. He asks her about Leah, and about the allegations that Penn left the needle on the beach. She tells Robertson that Penn confessed everything to her, including setting her up for theft. She also informs him about Penn lending Angelo the money for his restaurant. Robertson then asks Miles and Alf to come to the Surf Club for a chat. Miles is adamant Robertson won’t get the better of him but he’s stumped when Robertson asks what he knows about Alf and Tulip O’Hare. Robertson also asks about the vigilante meeting, asking Miles who was there – he confirms it was Alf, Sid and Angelo. Alf joins them and the two deny any knowledge of Tulip – but Robertson knows they’re lying, and warns them he’ll be digging deeper to prove it. Later, Robertson and Graves stake out Tulip’s grave and Alf shows up to pay his respects. His actions are caught on camera and it looks like Roberson has Alf exactly where he wants him.
April is confused about where Bianca stands with Vittorio – are they still engaged? Bianca isn’t sure herself, but Vittorio quickly makes his feelings known, he assumes they still are. Her doubts about Vittorio are only strengthened when she meets him at the Diner and he takes the opportunity to smile at an attractive waitress. Add to this Bianca’s flashback’s of the night she found him in bed with another woman, Grace, and she’s one confused woman, her distraction leading to a collision with two students. April tells Bianca she has two options – forgive and forget, or leave him. Bianca is confused, she wants to move forward with him, but isn’t sure he can trust him – he gave his word he’d never cheat, what if he does it again? When it seems Vittorio is flirting with the concierge at his hotel, Bianca’s jealousy quietly rages. When dinner leads her back to his hotel room, it’s too much, and she runs off, desperately torn and unsure of what to do.
Dex is smitten with Graves. But his plans to woo her in a suit are quickly squashed when Sid refuses to let him leave the house wearing it. Enter Dex’s aviator sunglasses – surely they will impress Graves. He arrives at school, glasses in place and April is confused by his new look. He tells April he’s out to impress and needs to skip school to do so. Unfortunately his efforts are in vain and Graves is clearly not interested. Despite several attempts to pursue her, Dex doesn’t score a date, but he seems to have caught Graves’ attention. He also sees potential in the fact she didn’t say no. Dex goes to the station to try again, but to no avail – however, Robertson is intrigued by the burgeoning friendship playing out before him.
