James discovers that Marilyn has been electrocuted
Leah and Roo discover a lifeless Marilyn on the floor of the Diner, and immediately get her to hospital.
James can’t provide the answers
James tells John and Leah that Marilyn’s accident may have done irreparable damage. However, with James unable to provide any concrete answers until the tests come back, a worried John is forced to play the waiting game.
While John is waiting, he receives a call from DOCS – he and Marilyn have been accepted as foster parents. John fights back the tears as he tells unconscious Marilyn the good news. But will she ever wake up?
Hunter finds nothing valuable in the stolen safe, meaning his efforts were for nothing. Soon after, he’s shocked to learn that it was his robbery that caused Marilyn to be electrocuted. Charlotte is furious, but Hunter is ready to face the consequences. However, Charlotte orders him to leave Summer Bay instead.
Josh’s HSC application reveals that he still has feelings for Evelyn, and he hopes that it will lead to the two of them growing closer again. However, Evelyn soon meets a hot paddle boarder, Tank, on the beach, and feels a spark.
