Extended Summary
Maddy decides to let her issues with Tank go, for the sake of her and Evelyn’s friendship, and the two have a reconciliation of sorts.
Zac and Leah discuss Tank’s claims that Greg hit him. Leah thinks Tank is just usingi t as a way to get Evie back, but Zac is unsure, and they decide to talk to Evie. However, when they get home they find Oscar, who quickly suspects that they were looking for Evie. Zac and Leah tell Oscar that, although they don’t want the relationship to continue, they know Evie is a smart girl who won’t do anything stupid. However, when Oscar scoffs, Leah asks if there’s anything they should know, and he reveals that Evie slept with tank without using protecton.
Zac is fuming and wants to come down hard on Evie, but Leah convinces him that doing so will only push her further away. They decide they need to talk to her like an adult.
At the diner, Evie and Tank are happier than ever, and Tank admits he’s never felt like this for anyone before. Soon after, as Evie heads to the beach, she bumps into Zac and Leah, who try to convince Evie that tank is lying about Snelgrove hitting him, but she won’t accept it. Then, when they question her about her morning after pill, she gets defensive, and the defence turns to anger when Zac warns her to stop seeing Tank. She storms off, telling them it’s not up to them.
Back with Tank, Evie vents her frustration at Leah and Zac, and Tank relates them to his dad, always trying to control things. He then distracts Evie with a surprise – a tattoo of the letter ‘E’ on his arm, for Evelyn! She’s taken back – it’s so permanent – but Tank tells her he’d do anything for her! She falls even further under his spell. Then he tells her he’s got a plan for getting Leah and Zac off their backs.
Later, Evie comes home and apologises to Leah and Zac. She tells then that she’s realised Tank did lie about his dad hitting him, and she’s decided to call things off. She thanks them for looking out for her and heads back out, but Leah and Zac don’t believe a word of it. They decide just to keep an eye on her.
Leah tells Tank that she thinks their plan worked, but that she hates having to lie to Leah and Zac. Tank convinces her it’s the only way, and tells her he loves her. She’s surprised and happy, and says it back.

Meanwhile, Maddy is annoyed at Oscar for dropping Evelyn in it. However, Oscar tells her he doesn’t believe Evie is being herself – she’d never normally sleep with someone she’s only just met. Maddy points out that she and Oscar slept together quickly – but Oscar says that Maddy was more experienced, so it wouldn’t have meant as much for Maddy as it did for Evie. Maddy’s offended, thinking he’s insinuating that she’s easy, and leaves, clearly upset.
Matt bumps into Oscar, and smiles when Oscar explains his idiocy. Oscar begs Matt to talk to Maddy – Matt’s reluctant because of his own feelings for Maddy, but ends up going ahead with it. He manages to help smooth things over a little, and tells her he sees her as a strong minded chick who isn’t afraid to be herself – but leaves with his own feelings of longing for Maddy renewed.
Later, Oscar and Maddy finally meet up, and MAddy is still upset. He apologises and explains how he never meant to hurt her. She’s upset that it’s only girls who get called ‘easy’ for being sexually promiscuous, and he agrees, it’s not fair. He tells her he loves her and she’s overjoyed, and they make up with a kiss, just as Matt walks in, making him feel worse than ever.
