Kyle notices Andy and Hannah getting close. Charlotte pays Trystan, but he’s not finished with her. Nate breaks Kat’s heart.
Extended Summary
Matt bumps into Charlotte at the Diner, and suggest they get together. However, Charlotte, with her mind on other things, is evasive and says she’ll call him. Later, Charlotte arrives home, looking for a place to put the bag of money Trystan is after. She’s startled as Matt appears from the bedroom, and quickly hides the money in a cupboard.
Oblivious to her actions, Matt moves closer to her, and the pair kiss, with Charlotte appreciating the distraction. Later, when Matt emerges from her bedroom, he catches sight of the bag of money. Charlotte snatches it away from him, but is forced to confess she’s being blackmailed.
Matt wants to help, but Charlotte insists that she’s handling it. Later, Charlotte and Trystan meet in her car. She hands over the money, thinking they’re done – but Trystan has other ideas – he tells her he owns her now, leaving a shocked Charlotte reeling, she’s still as trapped as ever

At the hospital, Hannah tells Andy she’s impressed with how he’s dealing with everything. Unable to convince him to go home, she goes to get him some breakfast, and it seems like their old familiarity is creeping back.
Chris is distracted, still worried he’s messed things up after saying the ‘L’ word. John tells him he needs to go and fight for Hannah, and he takes his advice, setting up a romantic lunch at the hospital. However, Hannah’s horrified at the timing, and tells Chris to go. She apologises to Andy for Chris’s insensitivity, but Andy just found it funny. She confesses to him what happened with Chris and the L word, as Kyle watches the two of them talking warmly.
Kyle later asks Andy what’s going on with him and Hannah, but he denies anything’s happening. In the diner, Hannah walks up behind Chris and asks to talk – she apologises for the way she reacted, and the two kiss and make up…

Kat and Nate finds Phoebe arranging some flowers, which had arrived for Kat. Kat freezes when she finds out the sender is ‘Dylan Carter’, and reveals it’s her abusive ex-boyfriend. Kat thanks Nate for being supportive over the past few difficult days, but as they hug, it’s clear Nate is strugging with the guilt of not wanting to stay with Kat.
He tries to convince Kat to go back to work, but she insists she’s fine. Kat asks Nate if he’ll see Ricky today, asking him to thank Ricky for sending her a sweet message, causing Nate’s guilt to increase further.
When Kat visits the hospital, Andy bites her head off, asking why they still haven’t caught Tank. Kat leaves, struggling to keep her emotions in check, and Ricky finds her tearful sitting on the beach staring at the waves. Ricky consoles her, as Ash watches the pair, checking his emails. He’s got an email from Brax: ‘Do nothing. She deserves to be happy’.
When Ricky arrives at work, she and Ash are a little cautious around each other. However, Ask tells her she should go for it with Nate, catching her by surprise, and suddenly a lot of the tension between them is released.
Nate goes to see Kat, having received a text from her. She tells him he was right, that she shouldn’t have gone back to work so soon – but that after talking to Ricky she’s feeling better and has realised life is too short. She tells him she wants them to move in together!
Later, Nate tells Ricky that Kat has suggested they move in together. Ricky is shocked, but when Nate says he has to break up with Kat, she’s hesitant… however, Nate is now convinced he’s got to do it. He goes to see Kat, and tells her he can’t move in with her and that they need to talk… she asks if it’s about Ricky, and he says ‘yes’.
