The relationship between Jack and Martha seems to be something like Marmite; the forum members either love them or hate them. At times, the hate seems much stronger than the love, but obviously not strong enough to stop the Golden Couple of the moment from just taking first place. When asked what makes the couple so special, fans never really seem to be able to give many good reasons, although it has been argued that they represent the ups and downs of every normal couple. Too normal, some may say. What the JM 'haters' seem to really dislike about the relationship is that it lacks any real substance and generally, all that the obsessive fans seem to compliment them for is... well, Paul O'Brien's 'looks'. |
