Most Popular Character 2016

Welcome to the results of our seventh Most Popular Character poll. Every two years, since 2004, we have invited our forum members to submit their top five Home and Away characters of all time. Five points are then allocated to their favourite, four points to their second favourite and so on.

After three weeks of compiling the results and writing commentary, we counted down the 126 characters from mid-December, with our Top 3 revealed on Christmas Eve 2016. We have also included a list of all the main characters who didn’t manage to garner votes this year.

  With everyone’s favourites out of the way…as requested, here’s all the main characters from over the years that no-one voted for!

Please note that any characters who made their debut after Episode 6500 were not eligible for this year’s poll, as those episodes were yet to air in the UK when the voting opened. Characters who have scored an equal amount of points are presented in alphabetical order.
