Sally Fletcher
Strengths
Sally is relaxed, calm and if someone needs to talk to her, she'll be there. Of course, every teacher and principal needs to be able to give discipline to their students and Sally was certainly capable of that. Many students have passed through the doors of Summer Bay High, perhaps none less infatuated with Sally, than Diesel. But like so many other situations that she's been faced with at the school, she has been able to overcome them.
When the position of principal became available again, after Barry's exit, Sally was enthusiastic to take on the job. However, Brad Armstrong got in before her and was given the position as deputy. When Brad was under investigation by the the education department, Sally was left as principal. Sally has many strengths that she's able to bring to her job and quite simply, who wouldn't want their principal to be as nice as good ol' Sal?!
Points to improve
Every principal has a bad day. Sally, although calm and collected most of the time, has had quite a few when you come to think of it. No teacher can do their job properly, without dishing out some discipline here and there. On the whole though, Sally enjoys her job and teaching the students too much, for her to be overly harsh on them.
Sally had a few tiffs with various members of staff during her break-up with Brad. Sally found it quite difficult to balance both work and home life, which sometimes led to her being called away for one reason or another. On the whole though, a lot more positive points can be thought of, than negative ones.
Overall
What else can be said apart from repeating what I've already mentioned? Sally is a very strong and much loved character, who when at work, gives her life and soul into teaching. Overall, nothing too bad can really be said about Sally as a teacher. Yes, she has her moments where she could do better, but which principal hasn't?
Memorable moment
A very memorable moment at Summer Bay High for Sally would be when Flynn dressed up as a student, just before he popped the question!
