Strengths

Filling the shoes of someone who had presided over for Summer Bay High for as long as Donald Fisher had was always going to difficult, but we commend the effort of Miss Ackroyd this year in what were telling situations. We congratulate her on helping integrate a great number of new pupils into the school as well as proving popular with the local community, specifically middle-aged men.

Points to improve
Of the students that were sitting their HSC this year, none actually got it and only Hayley made it to the exams, which she failed. Whilst ultimately it has been a tumultous year, Judith included, we expect better retention of our Year 12 students. Poor HSC results, such as the 0% acheived this year are bad for the schools reputation. Despite Miss Fletcher's addition to the teaching staff, we are disappointed to have lost both our PE and science teachers this term.

Overall
We feel that such was the situations that Miss Ackroyd faced during her short tenureship, it wouldn't be right too critical. However we would prefer to see greater stability.

Memorable Moments
Letting go of her terminally ill son Edward.
