Wow Miranda. That was a great fic and an insight into how Roman ticks. It's good to see a Roman and Irene fic with Rachel pregnant to Hugh interlude. The comical moments in your fic made me laugh and smile at the same time. I hope that there are more one-shots of comical proportions on the way with different characters or even a continuation of the Irene/Roman crush.

What a wonderful ending to a fabulous fic! I thoroughly enjoyed Lookalike, as well as all your other fics, and I too like Mrs Baker will be lost without it. I'm just loving your fic, especially the Hugh and Rachel interactions. I have a feeling that Ceri is just as intuitive as Nurse Julie - wonder if they have met and maybe they would be good soul mates or even mates. I think that Ceri has worked out that there's something brewing between Hugh and Rachel. I'm also loving the Tony and Rachel interaction - the birthday party was hilarious. Just a wonderfully written chapter, just like all the others. I always look forward to your updates on this fic and it's very addictive.

Thanks! I always enjoy reading your fic. I really enjoyed the Brad, Rachel, Jack and Sam dinner scene very much - good to see Brad and Rachel in a scene together. Their hopes and dreams being explored was also a great insight too into their characters. Rachel and her "woozy head" gave me a laugh. It was good to see Hugh back, at least Rachel's imagination wasn't playing tricks on her this time. I wonder what will happen once he's back in South Africa again - will Ceri be "on loan" to the hospital because I'd like to see Hugh get a run for his money (that's if he's still got feelings for Rach). I am so glad that Ceri has become such a likeable character in your fiction. I also look forward to the next enthralling installment of this marvellous fiction.

Welcome back to the fold Miranda! I've been missing this fic and I'm glad to see its return. I like the mystery surrounding the man-who-could-be-Hugh person. Rachel is such a classic in this chapter, from hiding in a supplies cupboard to being very distracted. I still have a feeling that Ceri will make an appearance sometime soon *hopes for a Ceri miracle to happen* but it would be great to see Hugh back on the hospital staff though. Look forward to the next chapter as the mystery slowly unfolds.

I've been enjoying this fic and look forward to each new chapter with enthusiasm. I like how you've included Mattie and Lucas chatting to Rachel the "agony aunt" and how Tony can talk opening about his love life with her. It's interesting how Lewis got the chop - I hope that this new information will lead to either Ceri and/or Hugh coming to the hospital. As for the stalker, I just hope that this won't overshadow the whole storyline but it's good that you are keeping up with current storylines and putting your own spin on things too. Please update soon as I look forward to your fics and your writing style.

Another brilliant chapter Miranda! I hope that it won't be the last that we hear about Hugh or see of Ceri as Ceri has grown on me. I'm glad that you incorporated Tony and Rachel's dvd watching as they never showed it in the show. I hope that they can find a happy medium with their genre watching. I enjoyed the encounter with Jack as it was very comical and I could imagine that actually happening. The last bit cracked me up and it's my favourite quote from the fic. It would be interesting seeing Rachel as Lucas's and Jack's stepmum. I liked how you incorporated the two conversations between Rachel & Tony + Kit & Mattie. I thought that that showed great creativity especially when you showed Rachel to be multitasking in listening and answering. It was interesting to see you bring Kit back to the bay and I could for a moment remember her moaning and groaning in the show too. I'm glad that Rachel spoke her mind to Kit like she should have in the show. I wonder if this will be the last we'll see or hear from Kit.... You manage to tap into each character and show the readers your brilliance in writing at the same time. Even the little things make it all worth it to read and reread your fics to pick up the character traits. Rachel questioning herself was also another character trait that wasn't really highlighted too much in the show after Kim & Kit left the Bay but you manage to capture it brilliantly. I was expecting Tony to come after her, apologise for Kit's behaviour and to comfort Rachel... am I reading too much into this situation or is my imagination just running wild? Please update soon and I look forward to seeing a happier Rachel for 2008.

From the 20 Memorable departures feature on Chloe: From memory (and please correct me if I'm wrong ) Diana Fraser (mother of Lachie and James) ended up with custody of Chloe's daughter Olivia and the tug of love was between Irene and Diana. It was a drawn out affair but Diana won in the end and Olivia was very upset as she had grown attached to Irene.

I'm glad to see another brilliant chapter of "Lookalike" has been posted! I've been enjoying this fic and also "The Secret Life of Lucas Holden" very much. You are a talented writer and I particularly like your use descriptiveness and plucking events from actual episodes and placing them within this fic. For example: I wonder how much information Hugh did divulge to Ceri about his "break up" with Rachel, if he mentioned her profession and if so, will Ceri put two and two together before the conference ends? Look forward to the next installment in this fine fic!

Another great chapter full of light hearted comments and drama. What a jerk Dean was trying to latch onto Rachel, I gather he had pre-planned that and was happy that she also wanted to "head for home". Thank goodness Ceri was there to lend a hand otherwise Rachel would have been in all sorts of trouble if she hadn't of gotten rid of Dean. Ceri seems like he's a good bloke, very perceptive too, and I hope that Rachel will learn to trust him. I just would like to see the look on his face if Rachel decides to reveal that she was the one who broke Hugh's heart. Look forward to the next chapter and more information about Ceri too.

Miranda, your fic is definitely goooooooooooood. It's "a fic with a difference", as it introduces an insight into Rachel's past, it reveals her thoughts and feelings, is easy to read and to understand the storyline (even if people haven't seen episodes that involve Hugh but have only read about him). I like reading fics that involve characters that are interesting and you certainly bring Rachel's character to life!

When I was reading this part, I was imagining all the faces that Rachel could pull and it got me chuckling to myself as well. That's my favourite part of the story, so full of imagery for such a small scene and I liked it when Ceri caught her out. I hope that Rachel does seize the opportunity to ask Ceri about Hugh otherwise she will kick herself if she doesn't. I gather that Rachel doesn't keep in touch as often with her city friends otherwise they would be aware of her situation. This part reminded me of the song "All my friends are getting married", when her friends started talking about their husbands and Rachel must have felt so left out - there but not all there - there in spirit but her mind and body wished that they were probably all single or back in the good old days of singledom. I hope that Rachel moves on from her past, stops thinking about Kim and looks forward to the future - hopefully with Hugh or anyone else that tickles her fancy. Keep up the wonderful writing, it's a fic with a difference and I'm loving it! Look forward to your next chapter.

It's good to see a Rachel fic on the forum and a long one at that! I like the fact that you mention past events and add a touch of "Mirandaness" to the mix. The mix up between the genders made me laugh and the ending also when Ceri works at the same hospital as Hugh. I hope that Rachel gets all the info she needs out of Ceri about Hugh, unless the fic isn't heading down the reunion of Rachel/Hugh path. I look forward to the next part with anticipation and keep up the wonderful writing as I like your style of writing; easy to read and has a good storyline.
