Todd was excellent last night, as usual. I could really see the shock on Aden's face when Cassie was in the class talking about blood-to-blood contact. The flashbacks were a great touch, and the car crash hadn't even crossed my mind until I saw the episode. What I love about the show at the moment is that it doesn't let you get too complacent with what's going on. There are moments, sometimes episodes, where everything's quite light and fluffy and then the storylines will suddenly get quite a bit darker. This week has been a prime example in my opinion. We've had the Tony and Jazz reunion thing, which was very lighthearted, and then we've had the Sam and Jack storyline, which is completely different. It's that mix that I really like. Another thing that I'm really enjoying at the moment is how the characters are leading the storylines, and not the other way around. And the newer characters are becoming so layered - e.g Miles, Aden and Roman. They are all deep characters, especially Aden, and I think it's fantastic that such a great bunch of actors have been added to the main cast . ...2008 = H&A's finest year???...

Wowee. What a mind-blowing performance from Bobby Morley and Jess Tovey last night! Drew really did fly off the handle too much when he saw that the article about Sally had been re-written in a negative light. It wasn't Belle that wrote it, so how can Drew blame her so much? Okay, if she had of wrote it I can understand him getting annoyed. But she didn't, so I can't understand Drew's behaviour towards her. The storyline was basically Belle & Job V Belle & Job AND Drew. The latter wasn't working at all, so it would only have been a matter of time before they broke up anyway.

That is the line of the century! I only caught the last 10 or 15 minutes of todays episode, but was it just me or did it seem a bit strange that Jack was talking about Johnny in an open space and via a microphone? I mean, if Johnny was in the Bay and around that area, which the audience know he is, he'd be able to hear all of that! You've got Jack saying things like 'They'll be police officers in the school and posters everywhere if you don't know what he looks like', etc. And Johnny would just think 'Well I won't go there, then'. I just thought it was really odd.

Well, tonights episode was just awesome. Kate Ritchie and Josh Quong Tart excelled themselves in every aspect. I voiced my opinions on the episode in the Aus discussion thread when it first aired, so I'll just quote that .

If today is anything to go by, that storm that's supposed to hit the UK is gonna bring everywhere to a standstill. If a bit of snow does that, what's it going to be like when a full-blown storm is upon us?!

I haven't been at home today, so I don't know what it was like here, but it was dreadful where I was. It was cold, raining, grey, windy, stormy...
