I just watched Sophie's Choice. One of the few films I've ever seen that actually moved me to tears, Meryl Streep has to be the best actress to ever walk this earth. It's fantastic but I'll never watch it again, it's too upsetting. Although I don't need to, it's burned on my memory forever.

I just watched American Beauty, one of my favourite films of all times. Sam Mendes is a genius.

Wow they are amazing, the colouing is just beautiful, I ove the first couple of Jack and Nicole ones from the last post, all the Leah ons from the post before and the last two Geoff ones in the post before. But it's hard to pick favourites, they're all stunning!

I agree, she has really grown on me. I like her naivity. It's nice to see a fifteen year old that hasn't lost all her innocence, it's unusual but it's great. And she's grown up a lot since she first came on the show, she's much more accepting of the world as it is but you can still see the roots of her character as it was when she arrived. It's been a slow development but a good one. When she arrived her idea of good and bad was very black and white but there's a grey area developing with her and I like it. I think she's cute and her and Jai are such a sweet couple.

I promise I do understand. I have read all the posts supporting her and I completely understand and appreciate what they're trying to say. It's just I can't make myself like her just because I understand why she is the way that she is. I've always disliked her, and I'm not crazy about the way she's played by Celeste Dodwell either.

The thing is, is because I've always hated Melody since the moment she arrived on our screens, and I think the worst decision the writers have made was to bring her back, I feel justified in not having a scrap of sympathy for her now. I don't hate her because of how she's acting now. I can see that the writers want us to see that her past is the reason she's behaving the way she is and that she is a deep and complex person that is simply going through a bad patch and that is why she is behaving like a manipulative b***h but the fact that I've always hated her makes me feel like it's ok not to care about her. From the moment she arrived I've found her insincere and sanctimonious. Actually I've never been able to put my finger on what it is that annoys me so much about her so it's difficult to explain. But I do see the point of view of people that are feeling sorry for her now.

I just watched Blow. It's just amazing. Although the beginning of it makes me jealous of young people in the sixties! I swear I was born in the wrong decade.

I loved the idea of Belle and Aden. Before they got together I was a big fan. Then they got together and I didn't buy it. The constant up and down was boring, I didn't really see the chemistry and, unfortunately, the hype did ruin it slightly for me but I didn't have any strong anti feelings. However, my dislike really started when Belle started pushing everyone around about the development site thing. She asked three people to risk their jobs for her and never really showed any gratitude. Then she stayed with Angelo because having a cop on side was really useful to her at the time but carried on sleeping with Aden on the side. I've always liked Belle but over the last two months, every shred of respect and good feeling towards her has slowly been stripped away by her attitude and behaviour. I really hate that they have got away with the cheating so lightly. I couldn't care less how 'in love' or 'meant for eachother' they were, cheating is wrong. It's just wrong and there's no excuse for it. It's something I feel very strongly about and and no one seems to care that they did something wrong. And the only person that had the gall to disagree with what they did was lucky enough to be subjected to Aden's hypocritical rage on Monday. And now we have the delight of seeing Belle be targeted by the developers and Angelo turn into the bad guy so that Belle and Aden are, again, the poor star crossed lovers just trying to stay together in a world that is against them. I have so much to say about this couple but I am not doing it very eloquently so I'm going to shut up. I will say that Jess Tovey and Todd Lascance are amazing actors. Just don't like their characters.
