Does seem a bit silly, just as you are getting into a juicy storyline e.g. Belle and her withdrawal story it switches to another storyline and we (the audience are left dangling). Does this mean the actors/actresses don't get paid the the two days they are not on screen? Another quickie, why do they not show the characters D.O.B on their biogs? It will solve a lot of debate as to how old a character is, at the moment Leah is the only one whose age we know. VJ is 7 coming up 8 but they change the ages and other details to suit the storyline. I emailed them direct to ask them why all the details of a character (Stuart in neighbours and can't recall who it was from home and away) had been altered i.e Stuart had 3 sisters later on he had 1 brother then 2...it's called Artistic license and they do it to suit the storyline so maybe that's why they choose not to reveal their ages. You never know next year Leah could well be 29 again lol This is one of the reasons i have given up on H&A not to mention the ridiculous storylines and lack of continuity but I still read about them in case i do start watching again. I think VJ's only just 7, he tends to celebrate his birthday around the finale.Completely off topic but didn't Stuart always have a brother?He was introduced as the younger brother of an old friend of Drew's(ie Steve). When VJ was kidnapped they said he was 7. He was born in 2001. Stuart said he grew up with 3 sisters when he first came to Erinsborough then later on Ned arrived and then Steve!! Talk about confusing people. VJ was born in the very last episode of 2001 so he shouldn't turn 8 for over six months.(And Stuart definitely said he had an older brother when we first saw him in Oakey.) I'm not going to argue over this. I have been watching both since the first epsiode and I know what I'm talking about so let's just agree to disagree!!!

She wouldn't have been a baby then she'd be school age.... but that's what I mean, eithere they've forgotten all about Pippa having a baby or they've messed with the script to suit the storyline -but she did have 1!

Speaking of Pippa... what happened to her daughter? Ian turned up one day and said that Pippa wasn't with him cos she was having trouble carrying the baby. Another episode where Sam comes back for Alf's 60th I think... He was asked how Pippa and the baby were and he mentioned about it being a girl but not her name. Pippa now comes back without Ian and I don't think there's been any mention of him or her daughter. This is what annoys me about H&A there is no continuity!!

I thought his name was Richard and did a search under Morag/Cornelia but couldn't find anything immediate and then thought maybe I was thinking of her first husbands name in Sons and Daughters.

Leah and Dan split cos of his gambling I think and can't remember how Mattie got burn -maybe it was the fire Sarah Lewis started???? Like all other injuries in the bay Mattie had plastic surgery and the burn disappeared with no scar!

All the music is from Mushroom records I think, same as Neighbours, I been trying to find a song that's played frequently on Neighbours but with no luck, I even asked on yahoo answers. Mushroom publishing site was down at the time so gonna give it another go, thanks for reminding me lol, you could try there if you have some of the lyrics, record it and when it's played again listen to it over and over till you get the words, I used to do this to songs when I wanted the words.. He didn't leave her alone he kidnapped her and Drew ran him over and he was supposed to go for a job and he was found to have lied about going, I think Belle wanted him to prove himself and Irene and ? set him up and he was driven out of town with his tail between his legs lol (not literally)

I agree with you there. Surely he went to Uni and he would have been 18 then a couple of years training then probationery officer for a while. I'm not sure how long it would take to get where he is but then this is soap lol

You're right Daisyap he told Beth he was 40 when he lost his job at the school. He said something like I'm 40 what else can I do or who would take him on but he definately said he was 40 because I thought it was a bit odd that he could have a son as old as Jack and assumed Jack was no more than 23 making Tony 17 when he became a dad.

He looks shorter than 'Woody' Could always check and fine out. I'll look it up. Woody was in the programme years ago, back in 2001/2002 I think. As Simon's character was supposed to be about 17 and the actor that played Woody would now be in his 20's I doubt it could be the same actor. It is possible as a lot of the actors are a few years older than their characters. Sharni Vinson is 20 and Jessica Tovey is 23 or other way round. Bobby Morley is about 20 and Mark Furze is 21. Talking of Bobby Morley (Drew) he was in a 2005 episode of neighbours he had a walk on part buying a hotdog fron Dylan's dad. And American teen dramas are even worse: 90210, Smallville, The OC. If you mean being older than their characters then One Tree Hill is another they are all a lot older thats why they had to skip college years in the new season the cast were pleased to be playing their characters nearer their real ages.
