Posted to Esther Anderson on the 5th August & got a reply [signed photo of myself & her, signed fancard & letter] on the 21st September - so about a month and a half. Will update this if more come in

I got a response from Esther today After a long, traumatic day, it really put a smile on my face - she sent back the signed photos of us, a signed fancard & wrote her usual long note on the back of the fancard. I'll take photos of these photos and post them when I get a chance

i just said something quite similar in the Angelo discussion thread!

Just because a character is on the show, doesn't mean his/her entirely family has to ever join too I'm a bit disappointed with how they're playing out Angelo's character; well, particularly because there's no chemistry between him & Charlie, and, even though they're under quite a bit of stress now, they're both still in the relatively new stages of relationship. There's been a few times lately where I've htought he should duck down and kiss her on the cheek before leaving, or just little things like that. At the moment, he seems to be playing an "appear when it's appropriate and then disappear" role, and, whilst I know that I still think that the character could be used better, more personally :/ Seems a shame to me.

For me, and a lot of other people, we dont actually knw if he really did sleep with her, yeah, his pants were undone and all and her top was unbuttoned, but how far did they actually go, no one has answered that question yet, and it hasn't been bought up since it happened, did he? didn't he? we'll probably never know! Well, that woman he slept with was seen filming at Palm Beach a few weeks ago by a mmeber of the official forum, so I guess we'll found out whether he slept with her or not. I don't think he would have slept with her, I think the producers want us to think they did, when in fact they didn't and she just spent the night in the spare room. When she was stood at the counter getting her drink, she had a smile on her face and looked quite happy but as soon as she saw Aden, the whole expression on her face changed and she walked up to him, like she knew who she was looking for. There is definitely something suss about her. I guess we'll find out soon. shouldn't that be in spoiler tags?

I'm delighted Belle is gone, because now the "OMG ADELLE R SO CUTE, ADELLE 4EVA!!!!" phase is over, we can finally get back to pre-Adelle Aden, when he was much more interesting. I find it funny you say that, because it seems to be we always say things like that, but genreally there aren't actually any fans of those specific couples running around saying it xD For the show, Aden's had plenty of time to grieve. People were already starting to complain about how moody he is & would he realise other people are hurting too etc. and now people are starting to say he's too cheerful too fast, and hasn't had enough time to get over Belle... there really is no pleasing everyone. Whilst not everyone is an Adelle fan, I think people are forgetting that Belle became his whole life; whether we like it or not. Even Aden has said it himself numerous times, things like [these aren't precise quotes though] "Belle died, and now I might as well be dead too" or "now that her life is over so is mien" - he literally gave up wanting to go on for a while, and, fan of Adelle or not, as general fans of the show, we can't be expected to just overlook that. I imagine she'll still be present in the show for a while longer, in spirit/thought/reference, but, I'm happy to see Aden starting to go back to himself. Some of his recent scenes with Geoff have been excellent to watch.

You said it! I cringe when he comes on screen, but at the same time I'm like "ooh what weird and wonderful things is he going to come out with now " Can't think of a character they've ever had like him before; he certainly seems to be one of a kind. When he was interviewing Ruby, that was just hilarious.

Hmm, I'm iffy about this storyline, and how they're panning it out :/ Her being suspended when Robert Roberson doesn't actually have enough proof to suspend her apart from "i think you might have done it" seems to be a bit dodgy to me. Then again, I suppose nobody can verify she was home / she did issues a death threat to him in public, etc. It's great to see Esther getting her teeth into another big storyline though; I particularly thought the scenes where Ross was getting questioned very effective, the way the camera repeatedly zoomed in on her so Robert could gauge her reaction. Very effective.

I was surprised, I wrote to a few cast members, and the first one I heard back from was Bernard - whereas I'm still waiting on Esther, and I'd sort of assumed she'd be the first to write back ;)

Looking back now, I quite like how they handled his grief/anger/grieving moments. At first, I was like "oh for crying out loud" when they kept showing scenes of him slamming doors in peoples' faces, but, from the "viewed" angle now, you can see it building up to that moment when he breaks down on Martha's farm. Even the way he crumpled Belle's letter, and burned all the gifts - because I wouldn't have expected that, thinking he'd want to hold tight to every reminder of her. Then, the way Geoff glanced in to see him asleep in Belle's bed, and broached it with Irene, and irene knew already - and in yesterday's episode where Irene said "stay for dinner ... and the night" ... it was a nice way ot let him know they knew - and, after his hesitation, his acceptance of "one more night" worked for me too. I think this leads the way well to Overall... yep I'm glad with how they handled the storyline. Enjoyed his fracus with Geoff yesterday - and the little "we kissed and made up" had me giggling. Looking forawrd to their 'friendship' developing.

He reminds me of someone else that's famous, but I can't put my finger on who - and it's slowly driving me mad So far, I like him. I find it odd that he refers to Jai as his little brother, yet Jai never told Annie about the foster place / where he became really close to one guy etc etc. Also, if he left the home before Jai did [to go live with the foster parents that he left when he was 16], how did he know Jai was in Summer Bay? Although I suppose the place they both stayed could have told him, maybe... Hmm! He's arrogant, yup - but not in a sleazy manner. Remember how arrogant Aden was, way back when, and that was just pure in-your-face- aggression type arrogance. But Romeo's just cocky, and yet, I like the way he flirted lightly with Annie; no malice in his tone. Hopefully he'll shake up the bay a bit
