Having an opinion is fine, but making presumptions on an actors' opinion on a storyline, based on a few of your 'guesses' is wrong. You do not know what Todd thinks of Gaden & this storyline, and you certainly cannot use 'guesses' to back up your point.

^Just about to say the same thing. They know about it & they seem to enjoy playing on it too. Which means they would defintiely be 'up' for Gaden.

You'd think being a Librarian and hanging around these parts so much would equal being able to read fics much before they move to the second page. Anyway... Gaden. I really enjoyed reading this fic, it was very well written. You have a great descriptive writing style and I liked that you wrote it through Geoff's POV. A combination of the two really enabled the reader to almost sense the feelings & undertsand the thoughts of the characters, especially in this case, Geoff. Also when these scenes aired, it felt as though Geoff was the more confused one, on the one hand consciously giving signals/making moves and then almost holding back at times, as though overwhelmed & battling with his feelings. Or so I thought. Early on, in the first part, I liked the way you described Geoff not being 'mechanical'. Awww, Geoff & his bears. Too cute. Using the childhood memories, and the differing way in which he played with toys, to describe the young man he is today, was really well done. Everything was spot on, his 'sanctuary', parting advice to bears, and now still doing the same, always just wanting to help. Ofcourse he knew. And we all know why he chucked it overboard too. Can't blame him either. Ahh! That tension. Love it. I loved this part, ofcourse because of the lip action (), but also for the way you described it. The intimacy, and Geoff's differing range of feelings on it all was great. Because he wants to do something more. I loved this line, and the whole scene that follows, the awkwardness on Geoff's part was written well. Aden's nudge, Geoff not being able to look past Aden's mouth, recalling how it felt against his, and just all the chemistry. I loved the "I kinda owe you" scene too, and Aden wanting to take the boat out. Their opposing feelings, Geoff's uneasiness and Aden's calmness, but both wanting to be there, feeling comfortable, could really be felt. This quote sort of describes it well: That was lovely, and the importance of what Geoff did, how he was there, and how he made Aden feel, really came across. Also adding the bit where he compares Geoff's actions to something only Belle would do was perfect. And I can so see Geoff reply in that modest way on the show. The rest of that paragraph is great too, Aden looking to Geoff for answers & reasurance that Belle is okay. That is so gorgeous. And it sums up everything that happened between them, how it changed things, so well. And that was perfection. I loved it. Or never ever. This part really helps to show how the initial uneasiness between them changed. Now to feeling just right together & knowing exactly how the other felt, without ever needing to say it. I also liked Geoff checking up on Aden at night, would have preferred it if he'd climbed in to the bed next to him. But at the same time it was just right, it would be too soon after Belle. What you could do though is carry this on, develop things further, something the show's never going to do. Then I can get more cute Gaden moments, even some that include sharing beds & kisses. Please. Pretty, pretty please. *smiles angelically*

Awesome & huge update, Jen. I love the white frame style from the 1st post and the style that Mira quoted. Some great expressions captured, love the text too (especially 'check da bling!' ). Great stuff.

Look what I came across in the soap planner section of the TV Week scans: I'm getting a little excited, the last time we got Geoff, Aden, boats & accidents in the same episode, the closeness was way more than we expected. Me liking what I'm reading.

How the hell did I miss all this Gaden-ness! Me love. Me love them all lots & lots & lots. Anything featuring Gaden is awesome, but the b&w icon (with the little red heart) is perfect. Woop! Gaden lives. Love you for making them. And then you go and make Roman/Nic/Aden gorgeousness. I wanna cry. Awww... my Roman. Loving the splits of Nic/Roman. So heartbreaking. And the b&w Roman/Aden hug one.

So much to catch up on. I love the Adelle 'crazier' set. It's beautiful with perfect text. Also love the last few icon updates. The colouring is so natural & soft. Love them all, Jen.

Beautiful colouring, as usual. I love the Belle/Aden one the most. Perfect cropping on it too.

^Other than medical people, the first person Aden told personally, out of trust, and because he wanted to share his past with them, was Belle. The doctor he went to see about the HIV test probably wasn't out of choice. He was visibly shaken up during that ordeal, and she probably suscepted anyway, before he confided. Also Rachel too suspected something was up, which led to Larry (along with Aden) confiding in her at the hospital. Again it wasn't actually Aden that confided everything, even though we don't see the entire scene, it's Larry who starts to recall the past. As for Roman, he also works it out by himself, he was never told anything by Aden. Rachel later confirms it to him in a scene at the Diner, when she asks him to take Aden into his home. And I assume Morag also finds out secondhand from Roman. She was living with Roman at the time, and would have been filled in on everything. She also had suspected something more behind Aden's angy young man act at the time anyway, from his hatred of his grandad & the army.

The character of Angelo has always been written with a whole lot of ambiguity, which is actually one of the reasons I love him. He's interesting to watch as you don't know what you're going to get. On the other hand, it can also be frustrating and it makes him easily unlikeable too, especially when trying to understand the motives behind some of his actions. Most of which are currently shrouded by secrecy. It's obvious that he's been It's always been obvious that he's got specific reasons for his vendetta against Hugo, it's just that we've never been let in on the reasons why, which can make it extremely frustrating and his actions come across as annoying/pathetic. On the other hand, after he shot Jack, we as viewers were easily able to empathise with him, as we'd seen the whole lead up to his final actions. We felt for him because he'd become trapped in a bad situation, that was snowballing out of his control. We still don't know if he'll turn out to be a bent cop or not, as it's all being kept secretive & mysterious. Therefore the way he's being written atm, he could easily be turned one way or the other. Pretty much the same with Hugo. Only difference is, we've atleast had moments in the past where we've liked Angelo, and rooted for his character. Which is one of the reasons I still like him, that and Changelo. So I hope he does get redeemed properly at the end of all this. With Hugo, I'm not sure if there is anything likeable about him, even moments where he's shown to be caring of other people come across as forced. But maybe that's how they want us to read Hugo too, it's just that I can't bring myself to care for his character.
