From memory, Smallville in Oz is similar to what happened to Neighbours ...started out on one of the main channels [channel 10, and yes, I know Neighbours was on Channel 7 first but they axed it - the channel's oz soap void was filled soon after by H&A !!!!] but then moved to one of 10's secondary channels [namely Ch 11]. Must admit that the only reason I know about Amy on Buffy is that I looked at her on imdb after I saw her on the big screen in ENCHANTED ....... and cos knew that I had "Family" [and the film TALLEDEGA NIGHTS which also features the bloodnut in question] on DVD in my collection. Oh and I just have to add that it was cooooooooool seeing Amy and her "twin" Isla Fisher in NOCTURNAL ANIMALS last year .....indeed, also loved reading internet headlines about the film like this one ......."Finally, a Movie About How Amy Adams and Isla Fisher Are the Exact Same Person".

Red, although the Smallvile ep aired the year after the Buffy one, maybe it was filmed prior, or Amy was dressed etc to look younger in Smallville than she actually was. Pembie, I watched the 1st season or 2 of Smallville but then lost track of it [think it was boondocked to a bad timeslot here in Oz maybe], and although I've heard of the Flash tv show, I think its only on pay tv or a steaming service here, neither of which I care to have. According to imdb, the Buffy ep was in 2000, whereas her Smallville role [ep title "Craving"] was from 2001.

REALLY liking Coco so far. Her harrowed scream when her dad Ben destroyed her mobile was priceless, and seemed soooooo on the money [teenagers etc wise] right now. As were the comments by her mum Maggie and sister Ziggy about her having no friends in the real world. Hoping, given Coco's age group, that she and Raffy [whom I looooooooooooove] become friends !!!!!

MANY thanks once more for everyone's comments throughout this fic ........ despite it being vaulted at one point cos I couldn't work out, for the longest time, the most thrilling etc way to write the treasure hunt race scenes. One the plus side of that, if i'd worked out that sooner, Raffy and Tori wouldn't have been in this fic, or the Billy gets turned into Catherine tangent/sub plot. Red Ranger 1, I knew you'd guess etc that part of the scene was inspired by the ep "Family", which guest starred a young Amy Adams [as Tara's cousin] Pembie, there'll no doubt be another fic in this saga ....one that combines past faves [Ruby, Saha, Rosie etc] along with current cast ppl like Raffy and Tori and ...... LOVE how Zac made EVERYTHING right for everyone else before he passed away ..... especially bringing the somewhat deep sleepy Billie back to VJ and Luc !!! MANY many thanks for sharing this fic/story with us, pembie !!!!!

Oh how quick one can be 3 chapters behind !!! Time for a bit of a catch up !!! ……. Bee Brody was indeed funny and weird and a cool take on his onscreen drugs crisis …… and even a girl as smart as Raffy thinking about increasing her bust size to impress a boy, timeless !!! Killer goats was VERY out there, but like the ref to John’s childhood. REALLY wondering what Zac’s deal is …..AND why Luc is soooooooo fearless [aside from the fact that she’s Billie’s daughter] Everything being soooo upside down, inside out in the most recent chapter was head scratching weird, but totally coooooool. MUCHLY looking fwd to more

The explanation as to why the ppl of summer bay have miraculous recoveries was VERY well done. a spooky take on the sitch. Wonder if the moral of this whole thing ... the thing that Zac is trying to get VJ to Luc ...... is that, if she wants ANY kind of normal life, GET OUT OF THE BAY !!!!!!!!

Loved Billie thinking about how feeding the bub was her job, not Kyle's .....and how Irene and Alf were commenting to eveyione how they are as normal as all the humans [vj, chris etc] trust Hunter's actions to be of the destructive/violent kind

Pitty that Scarlet was killed by the shark ...... but the tackle double entendres [sp?] was quite funny .....and intriguing, given she was talking to Alf.

Do you not like her??? .... like I know you don't Phoebe [no problems there, I HATE her]. btw, some context, even before Olivia Deeble was cast in H&A, I really liked her in a kids show called "Little Lunch". Ironically, given how brainy Raffy is, Olivia's Little Lunch character, Tamara, was often at odds with LL's brainiac Debra-Jo.

Creepy, wonderful opening chapters !!! When you/Zac was describing "tales from the Bermuda", I initially was thinking of something akin to "The Neverending Story" .....then I remembered tat you said that publishers thought this was too dark. What's the deal with you and Raffy [whom I BEYOND adore] ..... she was a dog in one of your fics, now she's a freaky ragdoll ?????

You've made a very good point. with Phoebes [thankfully] gone, they'll hook Justin up with someone. I guess, even if these 2 do hook up, it's not like Ash isn't still an angry moron [despite going out with Kat]

All I can say is that I think she's very intriguing ... I think her backstory will be, so I don't think she's should be judged by her name. Must admit, I hadn't thought of the superhero etc name thing until I read this thread [I don't do social media like twitter, facebook etc] Sidebar to that, my surname is Bates and i'm certainly no psycho.

I'm liking the mystery about far. Like, I think the necklace thing she kissed could be from a lover she lost to drugs it the past. But yeah, love the randomness of Brody carjacking her and now she's totally in the mix.

I guess ... things that are unexpected. Like even a cast member who's in the closet. Maybe. Or an off screen couple that I wouldn't have thought of etc.

This story could be quite juicy ... maybe. I'm in. Looking forward to more !!!

LOOOOOOOOOVED that !!!! Soooooo beyond insane !!!!!! in those last 2 chapters I esp. liked ....... Billie's sarcasm when VJ was trynig to make the best of their quicksand/mud sitch; VJ's room service line, re that banana; Alf yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay killed the phoebe monster; Luke and Luc [and the comments that Billie can be a boys name too]; VJ naturally confusing Roo with the kangaroo; the Dr WHo references - bow tie and train to different space and time. Yeah, juts beyond ....... ADORED it !!!! Thank you muchly for sharing it with us, pembie !!!!

Although i'm not into video games, all the super Mario references etc were funny ,.,...... as was "a lease? what lease?", the robotic killer knights and thye pils that turned that creature into a MEGAbutterfly !!!! LOVING how INSANE [in a good way] this is

Had to love that Oscar partly agreed to this whole play dead thing was cos Hunter threatened to destroy his Star Trek collection !!! You can't kill Billie ... the show did that, and I don't think I could handle it happening again !!!

Now there's a way to kinda redress the imbalance .... Kyle being forced to go all the alien version of breastfeeding !!!!! Different !!!!!

Hunter's reaction to Evie telling him about Oscar, and indeed Oscar beiung worried about Hunter approaching is .... even for this fic, maybe, somewhat strange !!! \REALLY hoping VJ wins the conkers game off loser Ash !!! ....... but both could be DEAD if Billie truly finds out what's going on !!!

Oh man !!!! I didnlt realise the kangaroo was a giant ...with the whole carrying Evie and Matt in its pouch ......or maybe Evie and Matt are .... height challenged in this fic. LOVE that the mud cake was ACTAULLY made of mud .....and REALLY liked how Olivia finally "broke" ...... I must say although i'm not a fan of Olivia's, her pastured on smaile [no matter how VERY bad things are] is fun to watch !!!
