Wall-e. It was great, but what surprised me was that my boyfriend loved it even more than I did.
-
I love this one. I'm going to save if that's ok?

The bit at the bus stop was Gus pretending to leave town so he'd be out of the frame for the robbery. Kane thought he'd gone away to start a new job, but then he received a phone call from him saying that he was in trouble and needed Kane to come and get him, which he did. When he got there he realised that Gus had just committed an armed robbery. They were chased by the police and eventually forced to pull over, but Gus managed to run off into the bush without being seen, leaving the gun behind in Kane's car. Kane was arrested and went on trial, and because the trial was going so badly he and Kirsty decided to run away so that they could stay together as a family. We never saw Gus again, although I still keep wishing he'd b****y turn up and confess everything!

^ I think so, but I'm only speculating. I'm not looking forward to it either way.

I actually wish that Keith had died, for two reasons. One, he's leaving anyway and it would have been a fitting end for him to die doing something useful for a change! And two, it was a bit of an anti-climax after all that drama that no one died apart from May. Great episode though, one of the best for ages in fact.
-
May is great, as is Dawn (I've come to love her since the incident with the kid's mum who was bullying Jay, when she dragged her out of the house by her ear!), so I'm loving this storyline. Am I right in assuming that

It's lovely and warm and sunny. It's going to rain all day tomorrow apparently, but I kinda like that too.

Yay Jack and Tanya! I actually thought last night's ep was great.
-
Lol, I think about these things too much. Viewers like me are a nightmare for the continuity people on tv shows.

I think she'd be older than that. If she was was 14 it would make Ronnie 28, but Ronnie is older than Roxy, so she must be 31 at the very least (seeing as Roxy just turned 30). I'd guess that she's about 33 or 34, so her daughter will be at least 18, possibly 20. That's quite a strange thought!
-
So how old will Ronnie's daughter be now? She had her at 14 and she's what, mid 30s now? I'm thinking there'll be a stroppy teenager turning up on her doorstep in the not too distant future. It kind of reminds me of Amanda and Belle for some reason, and that turned out to be a great storyline, so fingers crossed! Roxy's pregnancy has definitely made me warm to her more, and she was great in last night's ep. I just hope the baby isn't Jack's. I can't see anything appealing in that storyline at all.

Jack and Ronnie are beyond repair IMO, at least for the forseeable future. Not only has their relationship been ruined, but Jack as a character has gone way down in my estimation. Obviously there was always a dark side to him, but the way he treated Ronnie was cheap and selfish, like he was some kind of horny teenager! I hated it when he cheated on her and especially when he slept with Roxy, which was just random and ridiculous. I do like him with Tanya though - there's something about her that seems to bring out the nice side in all these bad boys! Can't agree about Bradley and Clare though. I still hate Clare with a passion. I actually liked her better the first time round, and that's saying something as she was incredibly annoying even then.

Charlie is great, but I think it's a bit of a shame that she's going back to Eastenders. She was starting to carve out a decent career for herself, so it seems a bit like taking a step backwards. I hope she doesn't get typecast.

To be honest I hope they don't win. Certain categories yes, but not Best Soap. Corrie and Emmerdale are much more deserving candidates.
-
Sorry, but I have to laugh - you don't know you're born!

27 Dresses. I only really wanted to see it because of Katherine Heigl, but I really loved it.

Thunderstorm! I love storms.

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse after yesterday's episode, they go and top it with today's! Have they been getting one of the cleaners to write the scripts for the past couple of weeks?! It's just so random, and even though I haven't missed an episode I still don't understand what's going on. This stuff with Sean and Gus is just bizarre, the revelation about Roxy being a drug addict came out of nowhere, and then all of a sudden Roxy and Jack are ripping each other's clothes off! I am, quite literally, stumped.

This whole wedding thing has been really, truly awful. Did the writers even know what storyline they were writing? It was like one minute Minty loved Hazel, then he loved Heather, then Hazel, then Heather. I still don't even know if he really wanted to marry Heather at all. Now they're actually married, are we in for a six month long version of today's ep? If so I don't think my brain can stand it!

I am Legend. It was good, but not that good - I thought they could have done a lot more with it. And any film that kills off a dog goes way down in my estimation!
-
I think she probably knew why they were hiring her when she took the job. I read an interview with her not long ago and she said that 'fat' roles basically pay her bills, and that she was nothing like Heather in real life, so she didn't mind! But I think it's insulting to overweight people to portray her as such a stereotype. Maybe people like that really do exist, but I certainly don't know any.
-
Oh yes, Chelsea can go. And Libby come to that. I am looking forward to Denise coming back though as I like her a lot, and both girls are slightly more interesting when she's around. Heather and Shirley are growing on me I must admit, but I'm still not totally convinced. I like the current storyline with Shirley and Phil because we're seeing a nice side to her, but that doesn't happen often enough. As for Heather, she's very sweet and gets some funny material, but she's still portrayed as the token 'fat person' and I think that's in bad taste.

There are loads of characters who need axeing, but I agree that Honey isn't one of them. She's a breath of fresh air and brings some much needed humour to the show (as opposed to characters like Heather, who are meant to be funny but aren't). I do like Zainab but the other Masoods are like planks of wood, with no personality whatsoever. Is the father even coming back? He's been gone for ages and they barely mention him. If they're going on a killing spree, I'd suggest the following: Christian Vinnie Heather Shirley Clare Thankfully Steven and Sean are already leaving.

Noooooo, I love Honey.
