Relative Confusion (by Miranda) - comments

Thanks for the nice comments I hope to put more updates on tomorrow but its so rare to get on the computer that I just about have time to copy and paste a chapter, instead of replying to people I hope its coming across that Leah is a busy woman looking after her son, her home and her job, and she hasn't got that much time to spare, which is why she fobs Ceri off sometimes That's why their day out in the city was such a nice break for her. -

Thank you for appreciating my appreciativeness We're turning into a pair of 'luvvies' aren't we? [luvvies is an English term for over acting actors ] I think I'm getting a bit carried away with Ceri, I must remember this fic is about Leah -

Thanks very much h&agirl [and thanks to Quiet Achiever for her constant support]. It means a lot when people like my fics because I love coming to BTTB and escaping real life for a while. Did you see the links I put to the real life man I imagine Ceri to look like? -

Just wanted to say thanks for the nice comments from people posting about my story . I seem to be the one supporting everyone in real life, so I like coming here and getting some support for a change, and having a bit of fun writing a light hearted story -

Ooh, don't say that to Welsh people! I met lots of male Ceri's when I lived in Wales Well, not lots of them. Some. Maybe it was a popular name in the 90s -

Thank you. I'm definitely in the mood for romantic stories at the moment . I've also found the perfect real life man as model for Ceri: I've just got to find a decent picture of him on the internet....! Argh! A fictional character's taking over my life  -

Do Not Worry QA And J+MTrooluv, there is a lot more of this story to come I am in the mood for silliness [not drama and angst] so that's how it will be -
You don't suck at fanfiction at all I'm always going on about this, but its nice to see a clearly set out fic. It makes it so much easier to read [as well as the fact that its a good story ]

Thanks But its going to be a long fic, its not a oneshot Leah deserves a long fic, she has been so neglected lately -
This is very realistic, I can imagine it happening after the OC

Thanks. It all just came over me all of a sudden and I had to write it. Who says that television and film have no power over our imagination?

Thanks Eli

Can someone tell me what are the episode numbers with Hugh in? I've totally forgotten his surname but he is Rachel's friend who went to South Africa after trying to lure her away from Kim. Thanks in advance, it will stop me trawling through YouTube.

Hi. Thanks for your comments, I like to know what people think The Seventh Seal is the Ingmar Bergman film they parody [really well, I think] in Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey, so if you've seen that, you'll have an idea of what TSS is about. In TSS, a medieval knight is washed up on a beach and plays a game of chess against Death [the hooded black figure with the white face]. If the knight wins, he lives; if Death wins, the knight dies. When I saw Geoff washed up on that beach with the choir singing in the background, it made me think of the knight, who is a Christian like Geoff, hanging between life and death and having various experiences while he waits to see what happens to him. TSS is worth watching because its a classic. However it is very old, in black and white and in Swedish/subtitled, so if you can handle all that, take a look. 'Bill and Ted' is less gloomy though I'm glad you weren't sure if Geoff lives or dies, we'll have to wait until after the Olympic Cliffhanger to find out! My own opinion is

Yes, Charlie was really rude and insensitive to Jack. Fancy saying 'oh your wife killed herself didn't she?' the first time you meet someone!!
-
Yes, it worries me when I see young children like that 'acting'. I have heard that to get small children to 'act', the director tells them that their mummy is dead and they won't see her again, and that's how they get them to cry. And also, if they want them to look really happy, they suddenly produce the 'dead mummy' and the child is overjoyed. I know that sounds cynical of me but I can imagine it happening. Its all very well to say 'no animals were harmed in the making of this programme,' but what about humans?

After many days, I finally saw an episode of H&A on Fiver, which didn't freeze and muck about. And what episode was it: Jack and Martha getting back together! Hurrah! Hopefully this will stop them ruining everyone else's lives
-
So, did Jack sleep with Jazz? And were Tony and Jazz arrested? Can someone summarize the episode for me? Its hard to tell from my television- the digital reception is terrible at the moment! I had Martha and Morag frozen on the screen, Jack's voice talking to someone, and Roman and Irene talking via the subtitles! So frustrating not to know what is going on, I'm on the verge of giving up watching 5 and Fiver

Yes, although the Jack/Sam storyline is very well acted, it is a really horrible situation and I really feel more sorry for Sam. She was just a physiotherapist doing her job, then thought she would have a great life with Jack and now it has gone horrifically wrong. I really wish they had shown her get over her drug problems etc and have a good life with someone, not necessarily Jack. She has done her best for Rory in all this whereas she could have been a terrible mother and deserted him or something. As I also said somewhere [?] it is very nice to see 'Jack' acting for once and not just coasting along boringly. I think Roman is good for Martha and they should stay together, but I bet they won't.... I cried too during Sally's speech and concert - it seemed like she was speaking what she felt about leaving H&A. I wonder if it was a writer who wrote that speech or did she write it herself or did she work together with the writer? I used to think how sad Kate Ritchie must be to stay in a soap for 20 years, but now I think she has done well to stick with it. I think H&A is an institution now, it will go on forever

I'm starting to suspect Jack is actually a terminator, or some other sort of robot type thing- he certainly seems indestructible. RoboJack

It was true last year, wasn't it? We waited and waited, only to find our summer had already happened in April and May
-
I think really though, with all the dodgy things Jack has done while being a policeman, he should have been sacked years ago. It seems to be alright for him to break the law, but not anyone else. Wasn't the death of Shane Deeks caused by his driving or something? I think Sam has lived a dangerous and insecure life, probably from a young age, and Jack should have got to know her better before marrying her. Its a shame they couldn't have shown her getting through her problems and turning over a new leaf by putting her past behind her
