I can't get the View New Posts function anymore. It just says there is an error and I should ask how to use it?!?
-
What, like 'lend us a Fiver'?!? Why are they changing it?
-
No, they're not, are they Oh, I meant to say how good it was when Geoff punched Aden and knocked him out. It did make me laugh! It serves Aden right, he is such a waste of space

That describes my favourite type of story, I prefer emotional stories to car chases, murders and stalkers etc [yawn]. Glad to see that you are still thinking about these characters
-
If I was Sally, I think I'd still get a bit of Miles' hair and have a DNA test done [if that is possible, I think it is]. I wouldn't be as trusting as her, whatever my memories told me But anyway, it is so nice that she has her own brother now, having been on her own so long.

I actually agree about Martha! [shock horror!]. Someone said once that Martha is a better character when she's not chasing after Jack, and I think she is. I can't wait for tonights 5Life either. I think Sally will be horrified and think Miles is tormenting her or something and won't believe him.

Gosh. Thanks for those compliments. I'm a bit nervous of 'love scenes' and find them hard to write, frankly, so I'm glad to know you liked them. Had weird day when everyone seemed to be having accidents/ injuries and I had to look after them- spent half of day in A & E! But at least being in a hospital is useful research for this story Some good looking doctors/ others around!

Yes, I think the Tony/Rachel/Roman storyline is to balance out the horror of the Cassie/Henk/baby one. I can't bear to think of the Cassie storyline TBH, its too awful, so I concentrate on the Rachel one. I do hope she stays with Tony, it was so sweet with them yesterday. I'm getting more and more suspicious of Roman, he looks like he has dark secrets and is a bit too smarmy for my liking.

A great episode last Friday/ today. I like to see a Romantic episode. The whole Tony/ Rachel/ Roman storyline is good with realistic acting: Tony's reaction when Jack barged in on him making breakfast for Rachel; her starry eyed reaction to Jack's news of the heroic Roman; Jack giving love life advice to Tony; Irene looking crossly at Roman and Rachel chatting; Colleen interfering and pointing out the similarity of Roman to Kim [can't see it myself ]; the obvious comparison between Tony, the kind father congratulating Lucas on one side of th beach, and Roman doing press ups on the other. The best bit was when Tony compared Rachel to Beth- I've been thinking that myself lately: she's unendingly kind and patient, even has the same colouring as Beth. It just goes to show that soaps don't have to be filled with car crashes, murders, general melodrama. A bit of romance and good acting goes a long way. I reckon that Roman is an army deserter: he's obviously a soldier with all his talk of 'debriefing'; constant exercising etc. Hm...

I think Home and Away is heading for another epic phase. I think it goes through boring phases, like life does, but sometimes it goes through phases where everything turns into such a tragedy, or mystery, or whatever, that it is addictive. The drag racing storyline and the death of Lisa was an epic phase. The story about Henk/ Cassie/ the baby is terrible, its really upsetting. The mystery of Miles/ Sally is brilliant- I bet when the writer who invented Milco didn't plan that 20 years later he would turn up again. And the love triangle of Tony/ Rachel/ Roman is hearth warming [i hate to use such a gushing word but it is!]. I even felt sorry for Martha when that man tried to molest her in the bar!!! What is happening to me? Good old Lucas for standing up for her. He's grown up a lot lately, not a kid anymore.

I felt so sorry for poor old Tony today, trying to warn Roman off Rachel, which didn't work. I prophesise [is that a word?] that Tony will think he's too old for Rachel, but she ends up with him. And Irene thinks she's too old for Roman, but they end up together. I thought Roman was going to snog Irene in the diner today! I'm going off Roman already, he seems suspicious to me

I felt really, really sorry for Michael when he left, he was crying. I must rant about Aden though. Why can't he just leave poor Geoff alone??? I was so proud of Geoff when he managed not to punch him but controlled himself. If it was me, I'd have kicked Aden in the crutch

Hello friend Wow that was a quick reply. I'll let you into a secret- I've been madly writing this story lately and got really into it, so the next chapters will follow asap when I've got a minute to post them [i.e. when there isn't a 2 year old sitting on my lap like now ] Its been quite hard to think of Hugh's character though- I've spent a lot of time staring at Rodger's picture on IMDB and trying to remember what he was like...! I'm trying not to let him turn into Mr Darcy or some other romantic figure

I'm surprised the police aren't doing more to protect Rachel! She's been threatened twice now and we know the attacker is someone at the hospital. She must be petrified. However, I thought of the solution to her problem. She really should have a bodyguard going to work and back with her. And who is hanging around looking for a job? Drew! Rachel could pay him to be her bodyguard. And as extra protection she could perhaps add Lucas, who doesn't seem to be doing anything these days. Problem solved

Didn't Matilda Hunter used to have a twin brother called Henry or something? I don't remember much about him except that he was irritating, but he just totally disappeared. Am I imagining things?
-
Thanks for all the compliments, I'm really enjoying writing this, and getting all the constructive criticism from you all Ceri is a popular character isn't he? I'm half glad and half sorry I invented him . Poor old Hugh will have to watch out: Ceri might appeal to Rachel more, who knows

That's exactly what I thought!

I thought it seemed pointless for Tam to leave- she's only just got to Summer Bay... What was the point of her character? She came along with the big shock of being an illegitimate half sister to Rachel and Brad, then faded away. I also thought she would have some big passionate love story with Geoff and lure him into a crisis of religion, but that hasn't happened. Very puzzling. I quite like Ric and Viv, cos I think Matilda has got really boring lately. She used to be fiery, like Belle, but doesn't really do anything these days. But I don't like the way Viv has manipulated Ric, instead of them genuinely falling in love/ lust. And as someone said above, I don't get the idea that Ric is overcome with passion for Viv, he just seems to be aimlessly following her around. I think that the writers are trying to make Ric into a 'grown up character' and not one of the teenagers anymore I agree about Cassie and Belle's hairstyles- what were they thinking?!?

Yes, I thought VJ looked very old- he is about the same height as Ryan! I thought VJ was about 4 or 5

I'm glad someone remembers the bad summer we had last year, Nicky2. I was talking to a load of people the other day and they said what a brilliant summer it was...??? Maybe they were on holiday abroad from May to September. Maybe they've got a villa in the Canaries

Absolutely freezing with a VERY strong wind. Hurry up spring and summer.

A dramatic Tuesday double bill for me. Geoff and Annie going to get their stuff from their family home and leaving it forever, then Jack getting shot in the bank robbery. I think Jack is indestructible though- he's already learned how to walk again and had a new kidney/ liver hasn't he? I'm sure a deep coma is nothing to him  I was also glad to see Tony saying he's proud of Lucas for once. I can't believe Ric is running around that woman Viv like her servant. He must like her to obey her every wish like that. And what's up with his hair? Its getting so fluffy and flouncy. Didn't he used to have it really short? Maybe he's been having appointments with Viv's hairdresser

Thanks QA If anyone's got any ideas about what could happen in this story, do post them cos I need a bit of a kick to get this story started again. Family life and work have got on top of me these days
