TBH I only get the urge to write things when I'm angry/ upset/ otherwise emotional, so as I'm feeling quite calm at the moment, I'm having a rest And the other thing is, the actual H & A story on telly is catching up with what I want to write [i.e. with the attacker at the hospital], so I'm having to adjust my own story.

I saw my usual double bill today as I miss it on Mondays It was nice to see Lucas and friends going out on the Blaxland and not having something terrible happen- I was bracing myself for them to get lost/ the boat blow up/ some sudden storm whisk them out to sea But Jack is such a numpty! Why didn't he just tell Sam he wasn't divorced as soon as he knew? And to top that, he doesn't believe her when she says she is being followed. I think their marriage is going to turn out with her mothering him!!

Hi. Thanks very much for your compliments and comments. I'll get back to this story sooner or later, but I'm concentrating on my other one for the time being. I'm a bit annoyed with Rachel at the moment- how dare she speak to Sally like that? :lol: So I'll get back to writing about her when I've forgiven her. Don't take me too seriously though, I'm not one of these people who thinks the characters are real

I cried at the episode today, especially when they talked about Flynn. I think it was out of order for Rachel say 'Flynn's dead' to Sally. I think Sally knows that!!! But I do agree that it was rotten of Sally to do that to Brad- she could have told him earlier.

I must admit, I did feel a bit sorry for Henk today. He seems destined to never find someone to love or get a second chance. I think Home and Away has been better at being more realistic for years now. It used to be much more superficial and things would happen with no after effects e.g. someone would die and the next week they'd be completely forgotten. These days they show everyone being affected for a while.

I don't think its looking very good for Brad. If Sally really wanted to marry him she wouldn't be putting it off like that, would she? Mind you, Brad is very annoying and does things before thinking about them- I definitely wouldn't marry him.

A bit of a big episode tonight, even by usual standards! I know I shouldn't approve of violence but I was glad that Brad beat up Henk, it serves him right! One of those episodes that sorts out which characters side with which others.

I think it was 'Me, You and Everyone We Know.' It was a bit like 'Donnie Darko' but not as disturbing, or interesting. Shan't bother watching it again.

I loved Sally's comment when she found out Henk and Cassie had been out together. 'We'll have to increase your pocket money'. Underlining the fact that her daughter is still very young and shouldn't be doing anything with a man in his 30s! :lol:

Absolutely terrible. Its been pouring down with rain since last night and all day today, windy and cold. The days are getting shorter, there are rotting fallen leaves and puddles everywhere. This is the reason I like watching sunny warm Australian soaps in winter!

I suppose Annie has led a very sheltered life and doesn't know what the right thing to do is, so might not know she had to tell teachers when she goes to the toilet? I couldn't decide whether Belle liked kissing Dom or was revolted by him. She seemed really strange after it. I can't believe Dom is suddenly nice after he tried to kill Ric all those months ago.

I'd like to know how big Summer Bay is. I thought it was a tiny village but it seems to have a police force, a hospital etc. Yet only one garage I noticed them mentioning the person who is hidden in Seph's post above today- obviously setting the scene...

I thought the younger actors did really well today, especially Belle and Lucas. Belle looked really in shock, as she said, and Lucas seems to be growing up- I thought he might go off on a mad rampage of revenge or something, but glad he didn't! And a nice scene between Don and Lucas talking about grief. I forgot Don lost his baby son, I'm glad I didn't watch those episodes when he did.

Yes, it is weird what they can and can't mention- I suppose its so they get the right certificate for the episodes. I read that some H & A episodes have been rated PG [shock horror!] due to some things happening- I think one was Lucas and Belle in bed together or something? Can't remember. And yes, Belle could be nicer to Lisa, seeing as she saved her from a fate worse than death at Dom's house. I felt really sorry for poor Annie too. Imagine not being told about periods, what a shock.

Good episode this evening on Five Life with the Lucas-Lisa-Denny love triangle and the drag race scenes. And actually mentioning periods and people 'getting other people into bed'. It wasn't so long ago I remember Australian soaps never mentioned that sort of thing [unless I'm thinking of Neighbours.' Anyway, pretty gripping stuff tonight. Hopefully there will be a big revenge story now, with the return of Bad Lucas and it'll all go over the top and dramatic

When was the Vietnam war? There seem to be so many American wars that they all merge into one. Alf must have been really young to fight in it, however long ago it was [puzzled smiley].

I think my computer just doesn't get on with IP boards. It seems to like PHP boards. It is very fussy and has a mind of its own

Thanks Kirst, but that just comes up with a red cross and 'whistle.gif' We hope to get a new computer soon so maybe all the problems will be resolved. I must have my smilies

Thanks I'm just used to using loads of smilies on forums and I've only got 4 on this one I'm also quite sarcastic and I usually use the one called 'whistle' to show that I'm not being serious, so I feel deprived....
