Brilliant chapter Jen. The sheer exhaustion of looking after a constantly crying baby, feeling alone in the night while everyone else gets precious sleep, while you are desperate for sleep but unable to because you have to tend your baby, the image of Indi asleep holding baby Gabe. I've been in that situation so, so often, baby asleep in exhausted mummy's arms. I've even just walked away from my crying baby and gone into another room cos I physically was at breaking point and couldn't carry on without sleep. That's when you get the baby's father to take over as Indi did. I expect people will laugh at the funny old lady again, but be warned, young people. Bringing up a child is the hardest thing you'll have to do, nothing but nothing is harder. You'll all find out Well done Jen, great story

So true! It is ridiculous that Luke Mitchell is playing a 19/20 year old character! He looks nothing like the age that his character is supposed to be! Yes, I think if Romeo had been played by an actor the correct age he'd have been a much more convincing character. I feel a bit sorry for Luke Mitchell trying to play a teenager when he's obviously a grown up man. He's had so much criticism for being unconvincing, but its impossible to be convincing if he doesn't look right for the part.

hahaha, so true! He's not the most interesting character. In the show, when he went round to apologise to Ruby at her house, I secretly hoped one of them would say 'but lets keep doing it anyway' and leap on each other

A bit like trying to convince people that Romeo's a teenager. Luke Mitchell and Dan Ewing are almost exactly the same age, 25 or 26

Zetti and Carina, it all depends on which Star Wars films you saw. If it was the Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, hm, well, I can see why you didn't like them However, if it was Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, I think we'll have to agree to disagree Thanks for all the lovely comments everyone though

I don't think Indi was being vindictive at all. I think she thought she was doing the right thing, perhaps too quickly and she should have kept it to herself, but I don't think she is a vindictive person. Imagine if Casey had overheard gossip or someone had jeered at him about the situation, he'd feel worse. Does anyone else keep getting IPS Driver error on this site today? Its driving me mental

Oh gosh, poor Casey. He has to be told by Indi that his girlfriend has dumped him. I think he'll go mental. And good old reliable Indi doing Romeo's dirty work as usual. I thought Ruby was sensible to be normal about the relationship and not make it all starry eyed like she has before. Or perhaps once its a 'normal' relationship, Romeo will lose interest? But i can't see that he likes Indi better, in this case. Good chapter as usual I'm intrigued as to what you have left to say in this story, it seems finished to me, but what do I know?

Oooh! The climactical scene to the story! I'm glad Romeo and Ruby are in lerrrrve, and it wasn't just a one off like in the show. I think this is more likely to happen. Oh I've been avoiding this fic cos I thought it would be too sad, but I like it. Who's this Stacey, she was in another fic recently too. I am glad it wasn't Geoff, he wouldn't be like that. I'm hoping its Elliott or Penn, not Trey. I felt sorry for Trey. This is good, very intriguing.
