Surely English Literature is all about drawing your own conclusions and making your own interpretations? If he marks you down for disagreeing with his point of view, he's seriously unprofessional.
That looks really interesting. Linguistics is the kind of subject I'd love to study in depth, but to get where I want to be in life, a law degree would be much better for me.
I adore languages (especially English), so I always enjoy those exams, but the less creative and (supposedly) more logical subjects, I find a little more challenging.
