  1. Let's not forget Flick and Tane's wedding was on and off because of Flick changing her mind about whether she wanted to get married or not. The one they nearly had was in the country but got postponed because the jute being interferred with causing Eden and Flick to crash. The Maori ceremony was really special for both of them. Most blokes aren't that particularly bothered about the flowers and the other minuite, rings maybe. John was taking his role as celebrant quite seriously by asking quite pertinent questions. Who was going to be Maid of Honour and more importantly who was Tane's Best Man going to be. If I remember correctly Nik was going to be Best Man in the first one, as of course Cash would have been walking Flick down the aisle. Cash and Eden were just witnesses at the Maori ceremony. Tane and Felicity's marriage was meant to be their only one but that of course went pear shaped. We did see in the trailer Tane having an ultra awkward conversation asking Cash if he'd be his Best Man. Harper was seen having that intense phone call with Dana about Tane not having once said he loves her. We do know for sure Harper and Dana won't be asking their mum or dad but what about Tane's relatives, isn't he asking any of them to come over from NZ? It would be a stretch expecting Nik and Bella to come all the way from the US of A. Harper hasn't really got that many frineds in the aby, but must have had some back in the city. That was kind of spooky Harper really liking that particular cake so Leah had no choice but to tell her why it wouldn't be a good idea. It was, of course, before her time in the bay so wouldn't know. Hopefully Leah concentrating on the cake will keep her mind off interfering in Theo's business, it's properly killing her having to keep her nose out of it. I'm still having ery senses about Sonny. As we heard they were neighbours back in the day and went to school together until dad went bankrupt and they had to move away. I thought it was very telling when Sonny said he hated Remi back then and I think he still resents Remi though it's not his fault. Where has he been all this time, suddenly turning at at Remi's mum and dads and I guess they told him where to find Remi. They didn't tell him about Remi's inheritance, he'd found that out by other means. He does come across as jealous at Remi seeming to be be contented, a good place to live, good friends about, a woman he loves and who loves him and who isn't just anyone but a doctor to boot. As an aside I'm guessing now Remi has all that cash he pays the rent for the house? Another thought if they all like it so much why doesn't he buy it if the owners would be willing to sell it? That could have just been John, we know how careful he can be with money and seeing someone seemingly taking advantage of Remi's trusting nature would get his ery senses twitching. Hope Remi gets his credit card back. Mali and Kirby did come to the agreement of using the original photos. There were more so perhaps behind the scenes the ad agency sent to the rest back, Kirby's tat was back too. To quote Mali they are a hot pair.
  2. That does explain it, if it doesn't really, why Levi and Imogen had to wait a year before divorcing. Anyway he had to Google or whatever the Australian version of it is to find out his next step. Abby was being the annoying little sister nagging him into ringing Imogen. That was an ultra embarrassing phone call from a usually calm professional top surgeon, he was babbling away like a teenager, then finishing off by adding "It's Levi". Then the phone call. Imogen it seemed hadn't blocked any calls from Levi. Mali, it seemed was giving Abby space and letting her take the lead on where they went from here and she is OK at the moment wanting to spend time with him. Kirby wasn't fooled at all by this urgent appointment Mali apparently had. Leah had more to say about this loan Theo was getting and Justin was stuck in the middle. Justin did point out Theo is an adult. Great that Remi offered to loan Theo, the money, he can more than afford it after all. But it should be a formal agreement so there won't be any problems down the line which I think is why Theo turned him down. I think Remi is feeling a bit lost at the moment, Kirby has a job, Eden when in town works at Salt, Theo was only a part time member of the band and now he's got this new project which will keep him occupied. He's still not a happy bunny about Cash and Eden being a couple again. I know we've only just met him but I think Sonny is going to be trouble, hope he doesn't lead 'our' Remi astray. How did he find out about Remi's inheritance? He's obviously also known to Kirby from back in the day and knows Lyriks' habit about not locking their back doors.
  3. Both Leah and Justin did 'vow' to John and Marilyn they would be honest with each other. Perhaps a knee jerk reaction from Theo to get himself a loan so they could carry on rebuilding the car. He must have enough funds to be able to do it, I don't know how much Justin pays him, when they actually are at the garage and I don't suppose Leah/Justin charge him much rent. Dana did ramble on somewhat, wondering if Xander meant it when he said he loved her, Rose just let it wash over her, nice little reminder from Rose that it was Xander who persuaded her to come to the bay now he's the one that has left. Dana did say to Rose she couldn't leave Harper as she wants to be there for the Wedding and the birth of her nephew. I liked those Fowler siblings scenes, Abby was all for Eden and Cash getting back together but was relieved Eden was taking it slowly. Abby had absolutely no reason to blame herself for what nearly happened to Eden and what happened to Tim and Cash. I can see why she did, her and Nerida were coming from the same place seeing Tim for what I guess was the same reason, she got sucked in same as Cash did, but she cottoned on pretty quick and reported her. Eden was more than grateful, telling her she saved her life by keeping Nerida calm so giving the police time to get there. Eden was surprised to hear Abby and Mali were an item but was happy for her. Their teasing of Levi was so typical of sisters ganging up on their brother. We know you can't divorce until you been married a year, but I didn't realise you had to be separated for a year before you can divorce in Australia. Imogen and Levi must have been married for a while and he committed adultery so couldn't Imogen have put in for a divorce for that reason before then?
  4. Dana may sometimes be OTT getting her point across but Harper finally listened and told Tane what she really wanted re the wedding. Look what happened last time when someone - Flick - wasn't honest about their true feelings. Bless John, he did jump to conclusions when he saw Harper and Cash together, but she did have the talk with Cash about how she did love him but needs to build up trust again so need to take it slowly. Anyways both couples have now sorted things out due to outside intervention. John and Dana's friendship is back as it should be, him teasing her about her hangover and assigning her to light duties. Him telling her what is was like in the good old days when he was in the Navy and phones weren't so readily to hand. Of course him taking hers of her did mean she missed Xander's calls about him not coming back, leaving it to Rose to break the news. He must have really impressed those folk if he was offered such a great opportunity, but we saw how good he was, putting events together, sometimes at moments notice. I thought that about Mac too, he was supposed to be coming back to help her run things at Salt, can he just leave like that without working his notice? I'm guessing Dana has told him that Mac is away? It does now make sense now Harper suddenly mentioning last week the reason why she dumped her last finance as she needed to be there for Dana when she was having her drug problem. I guess it was one of those "It's her or me" ultimatums and Harper chose Dana. Of course Dana would want to be with Xander but feels she needs to return the favour and be there for Harper not that Harper would ask or expect her to. Eliza is a complex character sure enough, of course we don't know why she was placed into foster care when she was 10 and how many places she had been in. Not all foster homes are good. some just do it for the money. We know she stole the cash from Maz but was it because she wanted to buy Roo something, was it expected of her in other homes to show her appreciation?| It can also depend on how many kids they have under their care as it may affect the care they can spare on each child. May seem a cliche but she is a teenager so there would be hormones rushing round her body too causing more disruption.
  5. Both Tane and Remi questioned if Eden and Cash were just going to take up from where it was left. Cash was being presumptuous thinking what he had done wouldn't have had an effect on Eden. They need to take it slow as she needs to be able to trust him not to have another meltdown and dump her again. The last serious relationship we saw him in was with Jasmine, I don't think he'd been that close with anyone before, I think it was mentioned when he and Flick were having one of their talks. Maybe they didn't want people talking which they would have if they'd gone to Salt. Harper is well known for wimping out of actually saying what she should to Tane, last time it was her keep putting off telling Tane she was pregnant because he was involved with Perri. She did have the grace to look sheepish when Dana tackled her about it. I think Dana's frustrated that Harper's possible wishes are being overlooked as she is just going along with what Tane thinks their wedding should be like and she was drunk when she laid into him. Ouch moment when Harper said you only get married once. A bit nit picky of Tane when Cash said brides are allowed to change their mind about what wedding they would like and he replied but she, Harper, hasn't changed her mind she agreed with me she only wanted a small ceremony. OK there isn't a lot of time if they want to be married before Archie arrives but they can sort something out and their friends would be there to help in any way. They do need to actually talk and he needs to listen. Oops slight error on my part, apparently no-one died in the fire. Was Roo an official foster mother when she took in Maddy? Guess none of them would know what to expect with Eliza but the clue is in the name - emergency fostering. Small niggle I know and I may have missed it but did Marilyn get introduced to Eliza? People, will of course, jump to the wrong conclusion - or not - if Eliza is a fire starter. We still don't know that much about her history and if she had been in many foster home which would mess with her head. That box obviously means a lot to her. Oh btw the way it was lovely seeing that bedroom again, we haven't seen it for yonks. The last time I think was when Bella was there. Will Eliza be climbing out of the window as Kirsty and Jade used to.

  7. Mayhap Tane's actually working at his gym instead of letting his staff/trainers do all the work. Dana could be coming at it from the wrong angle, and Harper is digging her heels in as she feels bullied. Seeing as Harper been confined to the house so not able to speak to people herself she felt Dana was gossiping behind her back about her (and Tane's) business. As I've said before, it doesn't have to be flashy just upgrade it a tad. Dana did get one thing right Harper should talk to Tane, it's her wedding too. Brief mention by Levi of Abby having counselling which after what she'd gone through is a good idea. I'm supposing Eden was offered it? Mac is running Salt single handed, I know she did that when she first came to the bay, but then, well we know why, she and Flick teamed up and Xander was their third hand so to loose two important members would be hard to get your head around. Oh dear, dear Levi you have no idea do you, being a surgeon is nothing like running a restaurant, you'll be working with people who are able to talk back to you is a whole new ball game. Leah heard me and she did talk to Kirby about her threat about not going to court, and like I thought she might Kirby railroaded it, by putting her 'thoughts' up on her social media page, thanking her supporters and saying she didn't want anyone punished for what she started. It had a really positive outcome too as she got even more followers and Advertising had to back down and change the photos back to how they should be together with a letter of apology so YEH Kirby. Perhaps they will change the billboards. I'd pin up that letter in the board shop. Leah went to court and got fined $5000, is she going to tell Justin - remember what you and Justin promised Maz and John - no more secrets/no lies. It has been a while since Roo applied to be an emergency foster parent, back when Tane was hoping to foster Maia/Poppy, but as he wasn't an Australian national he couldn't so Roo stepped in. It's not going to be easy a 14 year old girl suddenly pitching up on their doorstep with very short notice. They are going to have to play it by ear, hopefully Maz won't overwhelm Eliza. Not a good sign, her talking about her last foster home burning down and her foster parents dying, then us seeing her playing with a lighter.
  8. Both Dana and Maz were press ganging Harper into doing something she wasn't that really into. I don't think Harper would mind a small Wedding, they don't have to be flashy, smaller ones can be very lovely without all the gloss that go with bigger ones, they can mean even more to the people that actually matter - the couple. Tane and Flick's actual Wedding was low key, with the Maori ceremony, with only Cash and Eden there as witnesses, they made up for it with the celebration after. John was right about it not being the right thing to do. Those sites he was looking at for was a no-go. 50 people being the minimum, do Tane and Harper know 50 people? I was confused about the mood board - wtf is that? Anyways that was then, this is now Harper is older and OK not so wiser, but seeing things differently. Maybe she could talk to Tane about it. Get a lovely dress/suit, Tane looks good in a suit, still keep it simple but upgrade it a bit. Harper finally took the bull by the horns as kicked them out. Let's hope Justina and Theo's project does happen and at least Justin has run it past Leah first instead of his usual pattern of the other way round. $20,000 is a hell of a lot. Of course we know why she had a change of mind, she could be forking out $5000 for the fine or do a year inside, Justin and Theo were more excited about getting the from Leah. Why is it that much, I know she was causing a disturbance and she spray painted that van but even so. I get she was disappointed that Kirby's campaign had run out of steam, but would her being fined be of any real help? She does need to speak to Kirby first, no way would Kirby want anyone being punished for something she started. Typical of Alf, just dropping it into the conversation he was having with Roo that he knew about her arrest. It's over for now, but there will be something else they'll be wanting to get the best of the other on.
  9. Yes unlike some, me too I admit, who thought Remi should have kept his nose out of it all, but he was just being a caring friend to Eden as he knew what Cash dumping her did to her. Kirby would have done exactly the same. But he did overstep the mark but telling Cash to do one. But she gave him a right earful once he fessed up. Cash's rationale works for him I guess, and he had taken Tim's advice on board too about not wasting having the opportunity of having a second chance of happiness. We know as Tim did that Cash will always be the one for Eden, and although she was wary she had to give in to her true feelings. I'm supposing they will take it easy and not spread the news they are back together too quickly, they need to take it one step at a time. I was expecting that when Remi came home he'd find Eden wasn't alone and was er um rather busy. John is very concerned about Tane and Harper's Wedding and how neither of them seem that excited about it. I know he hasn't done many but this one is so low key and so business like. Alf was his usual dismissive self but Marilyn got how disturbed he was, which is why she went to see him and she's right he is a romantic. True no Wedding ceremony is the same but she hasn't seen how Tane and Harper are when he's talked to them about what they want. Plus Tane and Harper are giving out the vibe everything is fine. Certainly does seem like it is the end of Lyrik which Remi seems to have finally accepted. It's been a while, since Remi had his accident, then other things kept getting in the way. They did love doing their jamming sessions together, especially the one at the hotel/resort until Tim and Cash got walloped. I suppose they could have those from time to time. Theo has his job at the garage, Kirby is now a board instructor and Eden works at Salt so not as free as they used to be. Will Remi still be doing his session work? I'm guessing Mac won't be holding them to their contract to perform at Salt? Did Justin make that decision about Lyrik folding by himself without consulting the other three? It seemed Remi didn't wasn't aware of it. Did have to when Alf said to Justin about how he had helped those 'kids' so much. I suppose from Alf's perspective they are kids, he is 78 after all. Alf got why Justin said he felt lost without managing Lyrik, not that he's done much of that lately, but it was another interest in his life. Alf has his fishing and going off for the odd sail and his visits to Martha. Justin only has the garage, when he's there, no offence to Leah btw. You can't be glued to your other half all the time, you both need your own interests. Same with Theo, though he wasn't really a full time member, but it was something other to do when he wasn't studying or working.
  10. Coincidences like that do happen which is just as well as we would have had complaints of it being dragged out. I'm guessing she would be hanging around in the bay but keeping a very low profile. I'm thinking Nerida was hanging around the hospital hoping Eden would come out and just followed her, took her to that warehouse, then went back for Abby. I'm hoping we'll find out where she got that Ketamine. I think, unlike some others, it was played out well, no-one got seriously hurt. Once the boys - sorry - Tim and Cash started working together instead of against each other they were able to try and work out what Nerida would do next. Even Townsend got on board so was able to gather the squad together. Using Tim was the only way to get Nerida in the open so she could be contained before she did any more harm. Cash did work out from Nerida's cryptic message to Tim where they were, fresh eyes looking at the files helped. Tim wouldn't have been in any danger from Nerida not now she had Eden to take her anger out on and the cops were listening in so would have moved in right away. As far as the cops knew Nerida could have had a gun, they didn't know it was just the syringe she was going to stab Eden with, all they heard was "finish her off, it's her or me". This wasn't the first time Cash sprung into action before anyone else was it? It was when he got involved with the biker gang, he was supposed to be just listening in but leapt out. Mali was still beating himself up by not protecting Abby but what he supposed to do, what would Levi have done differently? Mali and Levi were acting like anyone would if their relative/loved one was being held hostage and to them the police seemed not to be doing anything. It was very telling that when Abby was brought back the cop shop it was Mali she went to. Nice to see later when Levi took Abby home and said to Mali "Are you coming?". to Townsend apologising to Rose. It must be difficult for any outside CID officer swooping in to a small town like the bay to 'solve' a crime , they upset the locals and local cops, treating them like yokels. They don't want interference and don't want to know any gossip which may be useful. They have to kook at it objectively. Tim was the bigger man and proved most of us wrong thinking he was a bad man and that he was a decent guy. Even after all what Nerida put him through, accusing him of misconduct and trying to kill him he still had her interests in mind when he said to the cops taking her in that she needs help. Then he gave almost the same advice Gary did to Cash about not pushing people you love away. I believe Tim had fallen for Eden but he knows she wouldn't feel the same way about him which is why he's walked away. Bit too soon for Cash to say he was wrong and ask Eden to take him back, Eden needs to get over the Ketamine so can think clearer. Remi wasn't a happy bunny though. It's nothing to do with him if Eden does take Cash back but he was there for her they broke up and knows how much it hurt her and doesn't want to see it happen again.
  11. Cash did well to spot Eden's phone lying in the grass, it had all those missed calls on it. He's got bloody good eyesight. Nerida wouldn't throw her phone away and anyways she used it later to call Tim. Eden, unlike Abby, had been drugged with Ketamine hence her very drowsy state. Mali so shouldn't blame himself, Abby was only going to the shower block and what was he supposed to do hang about outside and look like some sort of perv? He was there the moment she screamed out and got himself a wallop on the head as a result. I don't think Nerida who is unhinged but certainly isn't stupid enough to book into the Caravan Park, she would have just walked casually round giving the impression she's a fellow resident. She may have followed Abby from the Board Shop to the Caravan Park and worked it out that is where she is staying? Abby fought back so well and luckily avoided getting jabbed with the Ketamine which is why she was so alert at, I'm guessing, is that old cinema Tim was talking about, it looked big enough. She, Nerida, may have threatened to hurt Mali more if she didn't go with her. Btw where where were the other residents when Abby was screaming her head off? Another thing - sorry - where did she get it from and the needles. OK Levi would accuse Mali of not looking after Abby like he said he would, but he did, well not apologise exactly, but sympathise after a word or two from Kirby. Abby and Nerida do have a connection seeing as Tim was their counsellor and been 'dumped' by him. Abby can certainly talk the talk you have to give her that. It did calm Nerida down and once Eden was more with it able to 'confirm' what Abby was saying about how she made a mistake in getting together with Tim. If what Abby is saying to Nerida and agreeing with all she's saying is keeping her on an even keel fine and dandy. Now all they, the cops, need to do is find them. Cash and Tim both need to put their egos behind them and start acting like grown men and work together to find Eden and Abby. Cash had let Eden go and Tim believed Eden felt more for him than she really did. Loved how Rose put them both back in their boxes and told them to play nicely. They did start working through Tim's file on Nerida and trying to work out where she could be holding Eden and Abby, somewhere that meant something to Nerida. Coincidentally that is what Nerida was telling Abby and Eden about places they had been to.

  13. At least now Townsend and Cash are kind of on the same page on how to proceed Nerida wise. Levi is looking at it the way most of us 'normal' people do, wanting to know why they haven't caught her yet and why aren't the whole the police force out there looking for her. Nerida will be keeping her head well down, SB is only a small place unlike the city. Townsend did show Cash Nerida's file which is an unusual step as normally it would breach private confidentially but in some cases it is done if the patient/ex patient is thought to be of danger to themselves or the public. Cash did put his hands up and admit he was wrong to take her at her word, but hey he's human and we make mistakes. Both Tim and Eden were single when they got together whereas Levi wasn't, so not quite the same but Tim did think Eden was over Cash so they could take their relationship onwards and upwards. I think Eden was advised to stick with Tim at the hospital as he was under guard so she would be safe while there. Now though he's kicked her out after her confession she kissed Cash, more than one though wasn't it? OK Tim wasn't holier than thou but he did what he thought was the right thing by dumping Abby as a client/patient so he could start seeing Eden. At least Abby didn't turn out to be a psycho. Another thing why wouldn't Tim be eligible for protection when he leaves hospital, he'd still be a target? Belatedly the cops saw Nerida on the hospital's CCTV. I'm guessing Eden's brain wasn't firing on all cylinders when she walked out of hospital in the dark. Was Nerida just lucky and where did she get that needle and whatever it was she injected Eden with? Seeing as Nerida couldn't get to Tim she zoned in on Eden saying "He's mine". Eden had just answered that call from Cash so hopefully he's joined the dots and was able to track where it was answered even if Eden has been taken off to wherever. I get Dana is looking after her big sis like Harper has with her but Harper is going into this with her eyes open. All she can or should do is be there for her. John said every relationship is different and there is no time limit on how soon you move on. It was a tad awkward Tane telling Cash that he and Harper are getting married so needs Felicity's death certificate. Flick as we saw kept her maiden name then. 12th August, has it really been that long?
  14. I can see why Levi freaked out at Mali but he was totally innocent, he had no clue Abby had just dropped the news she was staying with Mali mainly I think just to wind him up, Levi did apologise to Mali. But as luck or not as it happened has brought the question up that maybe Abby would be safer at the caravan park. The Farm House is out in the sticks. Abby, unlike a lot of characters do and hide bad news, did show Mali the text Nerida sent, took it to Levi to get his view on it. The cops do owe Abby protection seeing as she was willing to wear a wire to catch Nerida out. Eden is somewhat safe seeing as she is at the hospital and Tim has a guard. Nerida may be unhinged but would she be that loopy enough to turn up at the hospital again? I think Tane does care for Harper though obviously he isn't in love with her. I know I've said this before but I think it's kinder he doesn't say if it he isn't. Tane had a big do last time and it was beautiful and nothing wrong with it being low key seeing how far along Harper is but you could still have a lovely day with a few more people around. John was lovely with Harper when he saw how upset she was, Harper wasn't really around when Tane and Flick were first together but John said yes they were very passionate but not all love is like that, a new love can be very different but be just as good. Gina was John's main love, but he and Marilyn were very happy. That was a bit of a curve ball the fact Tane and Flick were still legally married despite Tane saying he wasn't her next of kin anymore and him saying she was ex which she wasn't. I did get his point when he said to John it was going to be very awkward asking Cash for Felicity's death certificate as he needs it to show the authorities he's a widower so he can get married again in a couple of months. The last Cash knew and yes he has been tied up in other matters was Tane and Harper had just announced they were a couple. Remi was pushed into a corner by Mac, he feel he owes her as she took them on to play at Salt when she knew nothing about them. I liked the fact he felt it wouldn't be right to perform without Eden but she'd be wary being in the public eye with Nerida on the loose.
  15. Seeing as Abby was trying to trap Nerida into confessing to hurting Tim she would and should be wary. Rose should inform her superiors about her involvement and ensure she is protected, I'm guessing Rose is now back on the case? Does Nerida know where Abby lives? Mali was getting in a panic about Theo finding out he was seeing Abby which we saw from their conversations, but it all went shaped when Theo caught them having a snog. I like to think Mali felt awkward about it because Theo had expressed a liking for Abby. Theo and Abby didn't really get off the ground and as Justin said to him the same problem was there, Abby is a recovering addict and he, Theo, had been burnt when he got involved with Valerie. It was very for Theo having Justin & Leah heavily hinting they wanted to spend the night alone. Well if being arrested floats their boat so be it, they weren't going to be hurting anyone. Justin or was it Leah wisely put the brakes on the skinny dipping idea - that would have got them arrested. Pity we didn't see the follow up from Leah announcing to Alf she, Maz and Roo had been arrested and how he would have broken it to her he knows. I thought Maz didn't believe in keeping secrets. It only have been only common decency for Abby to let either Levi or Mac know where she was spending the night, yes she's an adult but I like to think Levi and Mac would have told her if they weren't coming home. I have the feeling Mali isn't aware Abby is going to be more than an occasional visitor. It won't do any good Levi putting his foot down, that will make her even more determined. Mali would look after her. Crazy thought, seeing as she is PE No1, would Nerida pitch up at the caravan park looking for place to stay? Was kind of amusing in a bizarre way in Salt when Levi and Bree were talking about her operating on Tim and how she manoeuvered the drill when she was drilling into Tim's head. They were fully engrossed but Mac and Remi were just grossed out. From what Bree and Tim were saying this course is something most docs do have to do from time to time to keep up with new medical procedures. But Bree seemed to think it wasn't the best time seeing as she's just got her groove back. Okey dokey Mac said Salt is quite at night most times so obviously meaning it's not making that much money, but then she announces the meal is on her! I'm guessing she is paying herself a wage to be able to pay for it. Lyrik are still under contract with Salt, even though it been a while since all of them played there, so they are obliged to if Mac requires them to. Remi has fully recovered and now they are not moving to the city no problems with rehearsals. Eden has been quite occupied but now Tim is on the mend she's freer, both Kirby and Theo aren't that tied down in their jobs. It'd be good for Kirby confidence wise. Eden , though, may not want to put herself out there is Nerida is on the loose.
