Still on topic but kind of off, the surf club scene where Oscar and Andrew were talking outside the surf club, but were still on the set as you could see the inside of the surf club behind Andrew looked fantastic, they need to do more scenes like that. Knowing they were on a set but looked like it was on location gave me chills.

That looks amazing but yes, definetly not to Irene's style though I could see a funny storyline where Chris gets the job of painting the house and ends up painting it the wrong colour, but the chances of Irene letting Christ paint the house... I notice the change of location for the caravan park but had no idea it was on the same property as the house, that's fantastic though. My housemate thought I was crazy at the excitement over the new stock shot.

And after 13 years they are back at the original location for the Summer bay caravan park or at least in stock shots... Now hopefully they can go back to the original beach house.

I think it's funny that people call the ELEVENTH actor to play the part of VJ the real VJ.

All the actors playing the teens are older, most being in their twenties, VJ and Jet are suppose to be a year younger then Oscar, Evie and Spencer yet Jet looks way younger, but Will's a brilliant young actor. Its only been a few weeks and it doesn't help that VJ's got a storyline where he is acting out of character. Matt's doing well nothing wrong with his acting. I would like to see a storyline where VJ meets Vinnie's father Ralph and bonds well with him only for Leah to be wary and warn him off which only makes VJ want to get closer.

Haha they so do!!, especially Leah's house! Nothing looks used. Sigh Absolutely! Leah's house just doesn't reflect who she is at all. Remember when her house was bright and she had that dining table in her little kitchen? You could believe that it was used on a daily basis and things were always lying around as they do in a real house. Everything is so perfectly placed now and doesn't represent the character at all. There's been no life in the writing for a good few years now and the sets have now succumbed to that. I wonder if that's my fault I told a friend that works on the show to tell the set designer to update Leah's house it looks hideous with that wallpaper he just sent me a winky face then about 8 months later they updated her house. Also I see they used the exterior shot of the house that doesnt match the interior again on last nights episode

But in the earlier years there was 4 bedrooms, when that teacher and her son stayed, Joe? He bullied Sally, Maybe they made a cheap extension back in the late 90s where the boat shed is and it fell apart sometime before Spencer moved in so the put the wall back up.

I think Matt Little looks 16/17, VJ is suppose to be 15 so I don't think he looks too old, the problem was Felix looked way younger then what he is.

So now that they have a new actor playing VJ it may seem like we may be seeing a lot more from him which is good. From what we've seen so far the character hasn't changed, which is what I'm most afraid of when there is a recast, Felix's VJ would have acted the same way, especially when he said to his mother "You say I can trust you, how about trusting me?" or similar to that effect. Judging by the promo it looks as though he may get bullied over his mother and Zac's relationship, looking forward to watching more of VJ, I was starting to get frustrated, he's too old for Madge Wilkins to be babysitting him still so we needed to see more of him.

I'll be ok with a recast, Jodi's acting wasn't that great anyway.

I just really feel for her, really really feel for her.

Having lost my ex to one of my friends I can totally relate to Maddy and I feel so sorry for her, remember this is the second time this has happened, yes she's being a brat but I think that's the point. I'm not saying sleeping with Josh is ok especially seeing what he's going through right now but she loves him and thinks they can get back together. Evie is a little bitch anyway so I hope she gets hurt big time, she'll find out how it feels for a change.

Although Johnny's acting isn't the best, though I have seen worst on this show... I actually like Chris, he is fun, I can see him sticking around a while, he reminds me a lot of Adam Cameron. He's not a bad guy or a nasty person, just naïve and selfish, I like the change of pace when he's with Indi but hopefully can get back to where he was in the beginning and by then Johnny's acting would improve.
